I hope they do. Prevent and punish crime, not a difficult concept.

Bet that after these dumbfounded city leaders realize boarded up stores and a food desert, they will propose bus routes to the suburbs. And in doing so, bring that same crime with them.

YOU are so SPOT ON. Bus Routes absolutely correlate to crime rates increasing in the burbs. It has been that way for decades.

Close the stores! Sad part, stores let the theft go on. Employees are told let them steal and just report it to store security who just makes a report. Employees are specifically told - Do not stop the thieves. Employee will be fired and store sued if the poor little thug baby gets hurt. Poor little thug baby needs his skull split!

A lot of good having “off duty” cops in the stores moonlighting for extra cash. Those fat bastards are next to useless.
