I don't think that's on MPD however. I believe after the 911 call and before EMT or police arrived, some of the gathered bystanders went into the house. EMT went into the house upon arrival and I believe before the first patrol car arrived. From what I gathered that is proper protocol in a situation like this because there could be a medical crisis in the residence that they need to deal with immediately. They should be trained to minimize their crime-scene contamination while still doing their job. Have you heard reports of contamination occurring after the MPD took control of the crime scene? That would be on LE.
