A special grand jury report about the handling of two sexual assault cases that occurred in Loudoun County Public Schools last year says at least one of the assaults could have been prevented if not for the actions of administrators.
The report released Monday offers a look into the work of a special grand jury impaneled by Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares and directly alleges that the sexual assault of a female student at Broad Run High School in October 2021 by a male student should have been prevented. The assailant had previously committed an assault while a student at Stone Bridge High School five months before.
"It is our considered judgment that the October 6, 2021 sexual assault at Broad Run High School never should have occurred," the special grand jury wrote in the report. "Had any number of individuals across a variety of entities spoken up or realized a serious problem was brewing regarding earlier incidents at BRHS then the sexual assault most likely would not have occurred. But nobody did."
The Oct. 6, 2021, sexual assault was the second committed by the male perpetrator, who was sentenced in January to a "locked residential program" at a psychiatric facility. The first assault took place in the girl's bathroom at Stone Bridge on May 28, 2021, and was the impetus for the student perpetrator's transfer to Broad Run.

“Grand jury blasts Loudoun County Public Schools’ lack of cooperation in rape case”
Why bother cooperating? What can this grand jury do, or anyone else do? They know they’ll keep their jobs, get their funding (since the parents fully understand that these are ‘wonderful schools’ with an excellent football program)...so why bother wasting time with people who cannot even see the value in the grooming of little children?
Heard tonite that Kevin ________ (don’t remember his last name) just was fired this evening.
Ingraham had the father on her show this evening
It surprises me there’s not a trail of vigilante justice in situations like this. The father and his friends have much discipline.
Scott Zeigler. Dunno why i thought his first name was Kevin.
There better be a gigantic Title IX and 42 USC 1983 federal action, as well as contemporaneous state civil action, against the institution and bad actors.
That sounds good. Was Kevin the boss of the schools there?
Nice! I see he was the worst of the worst there, and the Superintendent. No doubt he’ll find another school district happy for his services, though.
And unless any of them goes to prison, they just laugh.
The other day I saw a video of Virginia cops shutting down a restaurant for alleged covid mandate violations that occurred 2 hrs ago. Has Youngkin or the AG stepped in to help out?
From what i understand he tried to cover up the rape of the girl.
I saw the father of that raped daughter on Laura Ingraham’s show on Fox News. He was the one tackled at a school board meeting by police when he raised the issue of his daughter’s rape by that sociopath pseudo female. It was lucky the police did not kill him. Ingaham, a past defense lawyer, said there is a monetary damage claim ahead for the family.
Let the lawsuits begin!!!
Loudon County used to be a beautiful place to live in or just to visit. Today rich leftists have turned it into a mini-DC.
The democrat party and all its voters are the enemy, folks.
Who would have thought a school board would act like Marxist totallitarians?
They wouldn;t if they got theiur a$$e$ kicked...hard!
You of course realize that nowadays vigilante justice only results in punishment of the victimized.

Sometimes the old ways are the best ways. In better days a couple of dads would have handled this situation privately late at night.

I would NEVER “cooperate” with a grand jury. The second you open your mouth you forfeit your 5th Amendment right not to testify against yourself. The prosecutor can seat you under the pretext that you are there to testify against someone else, but then turn the tables on you. And it’s perfectly legal unless you first get signed immunity for anything you say beforehand.
