Van Jones: Trump Picking Herschel Walker Was ‘Insult to the Black Community’
Breitbart ^ | PAM KEY

Posted on 12/06/2022 7:04:30 PM PST by SoConPubbie

CNN political commentator Van Jones said Tuesday on CNN that former President Donald Trump picking Georgia Republican Senate nominee Herschel Walker was an insult to black voters.

Jones said, “What I do know is this, tonight is about Georgia. And tonight is about Trump picking somebody who frankly used to be a hero – Herschel Walker used to be an inspiration, now it means insult. He’s an insult to the black community. What you may see tonight is people coming out, not just to vote in favor of a senator they love but just to vote against Donald Trump picking somebody like this and throwing this person at the voters in Georgia. Like you’ll just pick anybody who is black.”

He added, “His judgment, Trump’s judgment tonight, is going to be, I think, called into question by a lot of people. And I think that when you have a situation where it’s obvious that Trump, he was a little too clever by half. ‘I know, I’m going to put a black guy against a black guy,’ but the guy he picked was the wrong black guy. ”

Political commentator Ashley Allison said, “I think if you are Herschel Walker, you are an insult to the black voters of Georgia. And honestly, I mean, I’m not a Republican, but it would be an insult to me as a Republican to think that this is the type of person that I actually want to send to the United States Senate.”

Pub, I agree with every word you said. But, IMO, Trump has committed political suicide. Hate me all you want. The American majority are dumbasses, and that will not change.

Does Van Jones fancy himself as a splendid example of Black Men?

He is the epitome of what a whining, unhappy, complaining pain in the Azz.

He is NEVER happy.

You couldn't be more wrong.

He is the exact same guy that won in 2016 and 2020. He will win again.

The black culture is an insult to itself. Their communities are fraught with lootings, shootings, car-jacks, drug trafficking, and Punch-out King. Did I miss anything?

If they want to fix one thing, they need to keep the FATHER in the home. But, so far, they refuse to lift a finger!

Hershel didn’t win but he did better than Kelly Loeffler Kemps hand picked Senate person. The whole McConnell apparatus is against anyone who is Conservative and has not helped, only hurt the Blake Masters, Kelly Tshikabas and Hershel Walker’s. The Party is being by Ryan, McConnell, Collins, Romney, etc. They don’t represent you.

I have a very long history with Trump and supported him in 2016 & 2020 both with votes and campaign contributions. I have my red hat. I contacted my representatives in Georgia to ask they look into his allegations about our 2020 election results. In 2022, I decided to vote for Trump's slate of endorsed Georgia candidates in the primary (although not for my congressperson).

But I am not blind. Trump sat on his money, he traveled around and enriched his own coffers. He fundraised off Walker's run off and kept 90c of every $1. His endorsements hurt in key races including Walker's.

Trump had great policies, great ideas as POTUS, accomplished many things but he's become obsessed with being butt hurt that he was mistreated by the press/libs/deep state and keeps whining about 2020. He lost 2020. That was on him; he's never accepted his failure. He cannot move on, he'll never build another winning coalition (just look at anti-Trump sentiment in 2022!) Trump is damaged goods (lots of self destruction) and the nation and the movement are far too important to depend on one man.

I'm not a DeSantis fan. I wish I could support Trump. I wish I could see how Trump (as he behaves) could win in 2024 and be suitable for the White House again but he's just not interested in doing what he would've need to do. This run in 2024 is about vanity. If he's somehow the nominee, Joe will win reelection. I cannot vote for Trump. Not as he's been since 2020.

It's time to MOVE ON. I don't know who that would be though. It sure isn't Mike Pence!

Vann Jones, the Marxist traitor, is an insult to America. That is why he fits right in with CNN, the Communist News Network.

You can put a Red into a nice suit and tie but you can’t take the Red out of his ideology.

Nobody is “an insult to the black community.” A person might be a poor reflection on his family. But, this is often stretched too far. People come into their own. The proper thing to do is to be generous in attributing credit for a person’s good deeds to others who influenced that person, and to put the blame squarely on the shoulders of that person for his bad deeds.

As for race-guilt, no, that’s b.s. Think of Jeffrey Dahmer or Adolf Hitler or Hunter Biden. Do white people think these characters are insults to “the white community”? No. Not at all.

Now, thinking about Herschel Walker, he parlayed his athletic talent into a Heisman Trophy and a fourteen-year career in pro football (the first three were with the New Jersey Generals of the USFL, which came to be owned by a certain person then known as The Donald). Herschel Walker then embarked on a career as a businessman and an entrepreneur. In 2016 and 2020, he was one of Trump’s more effective surrogates.

The above picture of a solid man and citizen is not the picture you get from the $100 million hate campaign run by the Democrats to destroy this man. And, who do the Democrats promote as a role model for blacks? Why George Floyd, of course.

As for a shortcoming that Herschel Walker actually does have, it is his history of fathering children outside of marriage. This is something Hershel Walker and George Floyd have in common. As this is viewed positively by Democrats - who like to see children without fathers and who like to see women without husbands - they didn’t much bring this up; but, rather, Herschel’s oldest son brought it up. The reality is that nobody has the time, and few have the money, to do a good job being a father to children from multiple women. Herschel did well-enough financially to pay his court-ordered child support, and I guess he should be given credit for that. But, no, without blaming him for the culture of promiscuous sex he was brought up in, Herschel Walker isn’t a good role model for blacks either.

No. Herschel Walker was a terrible candidate. And the fact that it was this close shows just how beatable Rafeal Warnock was. But Trump as usual let friendships and ego get in the way of endorsing a better candidate.

Not one of trumps endorsed Senate challengers one. Not one. Yet many here can’t wait to see him be the nominee again in 2024. What a joke.

I just checked and appears your newsletter is being held up as you didn’t pay last months dues.
And your social credit score has fallen.
