Amen
Jesus forever
It will be reviewed online. How did they rate?
Rather superior measure than anecdotal comments.
Did I say sales clerk???
NO.
Just customers
You been hanging out with humblegunner??
Had a great conversation with a woman in a VA grocery store when masks started to be coming off. I was wearing the sheep gear and a woman walking down the aisle had her mask off.
I asked her if masks were option in Virginia.
She got squinty eye and gave me a snotty "YES".
At that point I pulled off my mask and said "Thank God!".
We then spend the next 20 minutes discussing how Covid info was mainly crap!
Enjoyed it.
Why your nasty?
Always, dear friend. He is our only hope.
Right now, black nurses who abuse them and mock them as they die.
Cry me a river. Seventy-seven is the new 57. Suggest this woman get up and do something, go to the gym, volunteer, baby sit, make new friends. I’m 86, in perfect health, go to the gym, have new friends, life is wonderful even though my son died last year and my daughter and SIL just moved 80 miles away. We’re having Christmas in February and are laughing about it.
How does that work?
What do people think will happen when they don't have kids?
Of course, if you are "lucky" enough to live to 100, all your kids, spouses, friends, and assorted partners are all dead, too. So this is nothing new.
Wow, you are a true selfless person to look after your friend like that. God bless you.
the eventual end for most liberals, a hell of their own creation.
Well I think there’s many Seniors who have family members ‘living’ that have forgotten about them as well. And I even hear from parents with kids grown, that once married they forget about their parents.
Not the same respect for family members as once was. Further even marriage today is temporary until the next person comes on the scene...then they walk away.
Which is same for ‘living with’ arrangements pretending to be married.
And here is wisdom.
Hasn’t this always been the case? Somebody always has to outlive everyone else.
Someday, Keith Richards won’t know anybody.
I agree. . .I know so many cases that the son, daughter or both live in the SAME town or close by and don’t give their mother the time of day . . . they don’t even ask how they are doing after major illness/surgeries. So sad!
Yes ...and it really doesn’t matter how well you raised them either.....or how much you’ve lovd them.... It’s the society we live in today.
I’ve decided I’m pretty much going to be on my own as I watched my family spread out. Grand-Daughters just 45 minuts away and all drive - have never come to see me. I’m always the one that drives there.
You just get to the point where you accept there’s nothing you can do about it no matter how much you love and care for them...in the past nor currently.
It’s much the society we live in now. Fractured relationships of all kinds are a dime a dozen.

Love it!! I know plenty of 80 somethings just like you — seems folks truly don’t slow down until the low to mid 90’s in some cases. it’s all attitude! I’m 59, about to return to my next job — plan to work until my mid to late 60’s at least, save up lots of dough. Then the real fun begins! (Lord willing!)
You’re right about God providing ‘another’ family. There’s a scripture which reads such...”He places the lonely in familes” ....often the church family.
Well I preference living my own life as well. And it’s so funny your kids think you should live a different life. I love my time and space....and I don’t always want company or being busy. That’s a choice I sooo appreciate.
