The grieving boyfriend of Madison Mogen, one of four murdered University of Idaho students, broke his weeks-long silence about the monstrous killings during a heartbreaking memorial in the town where one victim grew up.
“None of these people deserved this,” Jake Schriger said at the Friday vigil in Post Falls, hometown of slain student Xana Kernodle, 20.
Schriger — who knew all four victims — recounted his first date with Mogen, 21, at The Breakfast Club in Moscow, and how that friendship blossomed into romance.
“She was the first person I talked to every morning and the last person I talked to before bed,” Schriger said at the vigil at the Real Life Ministries. “She was the person that I loved most.”
Mogen’s close friend Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Kernodle’s boyfriend Ethan Chapin, 20, were also killed in the off-campus home in Moscow on Nov. 13.

“None of these people deserved this,”
Huh. That’s a somewhat bizarre comment. Who would have possibly thought otherwise?
I dunno. I can think of a few people who deserve to be stabbed to death in their sleep.
I thought the same thing.
IN MY OPINION, these girls exhibited lesbian behavior.
I wonder if the murderer saw these girls kissing each other and all over each other constantly that he either targeted them for being "PDA" LESBIANS, OR he was interested in one of them and was obsessed with JEALOUSY that since they were lesbians he'd have ZERO chance of dating her.. When he entered their bedroom and saw them in bed together, he lashed out in rage as there's definitely a crime of passion here.
“That’s a somewhat bizarre comment.”
It’s the most often stated sentiment in time of grief and it is obviously true. Cut him some slack.
It puzzles me that 6 people in the house, 4 murdered, and the other two slept through the murders?
“On Sunday, Steve Goncalves told The Post he’s working with his own private investigators because he fears local authorities are too “inexperienced.””
This is interesting.
You are a freak and your bizarre gay fantasy says a lot about your own sad mind.
Suspect number #1 just spoke.
After seeing all the handsy photos of the girls on the first day of the murders, that thought crossed my mind as well. Some insane guy could have been jealous of their affection for each other and figured he could never break their bond, so he went berserk.
But these girls were best friends since kindergarten and lots of women on FR have pointed out the differences between men and women with regard to innocent displays of affection. So I’ve changed my mind on that theory.
My understanding is that they were black out drunk asleep on a different floor, and it wasn’t the entry level, so they didn’t hear anything.
If I were a betting man, I’d put $100 on Jake Schriger as the killer. Too gruesome for random, someone close to them did the killing.
Now, onward with your PERSONAL ATTACKS against those here on FR who agreed with my initial post.
It’s a very common reaction.
Are you a MSM reporter?
Because what you said..is EXACTLY what they do.......
Who agreed with your initial post?
This is only a big story because the girls are attractive.
If this happens in Chicago to a group of black friends then the media is not interested in it.
Lemme guess. You're a guy...a guy who doesn't get that women are more open with their affections than guys.
When I heard the girs were in the same bed, I used my LOGIC and my inate knowledge of women (being one myself) and presumed that the girls were in the same bed because one of them actually woke up during the attack and went to the other one to see if she was ok. That's how girls do.
Guys are always so hot to look for the lesbian aspect. Did you imagine pillow fights in their baby doll pajamas too?
