I think the Governor of whatever State he's charged in can, so if it is a rat gov then expect it.

I am not an attorney, but wouldn’t a plea deal work against him. He pleads to Fed charges then is deposed under oath, he cannot take the Fifth since he does not face prosecution?

Did his deals impact States like Texas and Florida? Could they bring charges against him?

The reason I ask, once he agrees to a deal he admits guilt. A plea deal could open him to more problems than tax and being an unregistered agent. I think this is going to get dragged out for the next two years, with “negotiations” between the DOJ and Hunter’s attorneys. Unless the RATS decide to dump Biden before 2024, they cannot afford to have him admit to anything.
