This is the sort of thing people need to be prepped for and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more of it and especially during the winter when power outages would be the most detrimental to the largest number of people.

An interesting question, is it “domestic terrorism”. With words like “hate crime” and “domestic terrorism” we get into endless arguments over the motive. It is something very subjective. All that matters is the actions of the individual(s) that did it.
