When did all these Russian Bots show up?
Well, they didn’t all just show up when the Ukraine war started. I remember there being at least a small cadre of dedicated Putin fans on threads related to Russia going back at least 10 years now. But they have certainly become more active and visible now that threads related to Russia are a daily occurrence.
Coincidentally, it was about the same time that Team Biden started referring to all critics of the administration's extravagant foreign military & financial aid as 'Russian bots'.

Oh they made themselges obvious when the war started. Best to ignore them.
Strangely just about when Putin's army crossed the border into Ukraine in February.
At the beginning of the war.
The worst part is not that they are essentially cheering for Russia and Putin but that some of them will accuse you of being a Soros lover, a globalist, a homosexual, a Nazi/nazi lover, etc just for wanting to see the Ukrainians keep their independence. They also can never admit that they were wrong about anything, say everything posted against their viewpoint is propaganda, and often can’t make a logical argument to save their saves.
Just pop into any thread about the war and you’ll see what I mean.

This is the level of discourse we see now constantly from the Russian/Putin supporters. We don’t see arguments, logic, or common sense posted by them very often if ever. What we see are comments about Freepers’ penises and supposed masturbation practices. In other words, they resort to exactly the same tactics that Leftists always use - they can’t win the argument so they call you names or use derisive off color comments to hide the pathetic nature of their beliefs. This has been going on for months and is getting worse. I wish the Ukrainians could take back Crimea - which sadly is very unlikely to happen - just to see how the pro-Putin crowd here would lose their minds.
