Petroleum, natural gas, iron, and deposits of rare earth minerals like lithium are all present in significant quantities in areas that Russia invaded. Of course also a good quantity of the famously fertile farmland of Ukraine is located in those areas as well.

“Yeah, one day Putin randomly invaded Ukraine to grab resources... because you know, Russia doesn’t have any.”

Who said it was “random”? Not me. And he certainly did invade, and seize territories rich in resources. Nobody but a few delusional people seriously dispute that fact.

So your argument boils down to what? Russia couldn’t possibly be greedy for more resources? I don’t think we are living on the same planet if you think that is a persuasive argument.

“the US Government shouldn’t have done any of that...”

If it’s wrong when we do it, then it is also wrong when another country does it as well.

All of which Russia has in great quantities already.

Of course also a good quantity of the famously fertile farmland of Ukraine is located in those areas as well.

Russia is already the biggest exporter of wheat and fertlizer on the planet.

The Biden admin wants the price cap because they want Russian oil on the market rather than drilling here. Biden continue to partner with Putin on many issues.

So again, the counterargument boils down to: “Russia couldn’t possibly be greedy for more resources since it already has resources”. Not a very strong argument in my opinion.

Yep. My British wife spoke to her mom today who was furious that she is now reduced to wearing a winter hat and coat inside her apartment outside London. The reason? Because to heat her small, two bedroom flat now costs ~ 6 Pounds per hour. No, that is not a typo - she has an inside, pay-as-you-go gas meter and that's the current cost to have the central heat on. If she kept it on for 12 hours per day her monthly heating bill would be ~2200 Pounds, around $2500.

Her electric price has increased 2.5 times compared to last year so a portable electric heater's not a viable option. She said that food prices are now out of control; rising exponentially.

If Europeans, Brits included, don't soon start putting the fear of God into all the scumbags orchestrating this nightmare; if they don't reduce the leftist/globalist/EU/WEF-loving scumbags responsible for this to cowering in their houses, fearing for their lives, then they're done for.

At this point, there are no other options left for them.

My post #21 is just answering a question with undeniable facts. There’s no “strong argument” against undeniable facts.

Putin is going to do what ever he wants; Biden set him up financially to be totally independent. Thanks Joe.

Yep I overlooked the fact that the grocery stores will be empty of stock, thanks.

WMarshal also caught my oversight.
