An in-kind contribution is a non-monetary contribution. Goods or services offered free or at less than the usual charge result in an in-kind contribution. Similarly, when a person or entity pays for services on the committee’s behalf, the payment is an in-kind contribution. An expenditure made by any person or entity in cooperation, consultation or concert with, or at the request or suggestion of, a candidate’s campaign is also considered an in-kind contribution to the candidate.
The value of an in-kind contribution—the usual and normal charge—counts against the contribution limit as a gift of money does. Additionally, like any other contribution, in-kind contributions count against the contributor’s limit for the next election, unless they are otherwise designated.
Big deal, so Twitter can’t donate next time to Joe’s campaign...which he may not even run.

Eh. Doubt this would go anywhere. Unfortunately. I think the best we can hope for is the public shaming from Musk but that only works if people know. The mainstream press ignored the story completely. It needs to be started on social media. I hate social media but it seems like there’s no other way to combat the suppression of news. We’re becoming dissidents in a nation founded on official liberty because humans turn to fascism to control and manipulate and cash in. The Left with their propaganda and cancel culture and control of the free press and big tech must be resisted. Dissenting voices must be heard. But we need to live in reality not a fever dream fantasy. Facts not speculation.
Maybe, but if the FEC levies fines for this, they are essentially going to levy them on Elon Musk now, not on the former board members who actually committed the violations...
