The Dutch aren’t ending fertilizer. They are limiting the spread of and location of spread of manure on farmlands.

So what will happen? I'm not a farmer so explain it in layman's terms for the rest of us? Will this have a big impact or not really?

This could be done, but it would require ALL urban, suburban and rural non farmers to separate their non meat food waste to be composted.

The hoax cultists would have a chance to actually do something the believe in.

Mao went a little further, having the intellectuals and elites haul "night soil" from the cities and villages to the farms.

This would be a good use for enviro wackos, university professors, welfare folks, etc.

Looking quickly, (https://nltimes.nl/2022/09/05/european-union-definitely-changing-netherlands-fertilizer-policy), due to its small size, the Netherlands have been able to use more manure per acre than other EU nations, which theoretically allows a larger yield per acre.

The EU wants to reduce the NL allowance to that of the rest of the EU, which would reduce the amount Dutch farmers produce.

This will either affect the cattle industry negatively by reducing the market for manure, or fall in line with the reduction of cattle by 1/3rd that the government wants to do (https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/environment/2021/sep/09/netherlands-proposes-radical-plans-to-cut-livestock-numbers-by-almost-a-third).

This will either have a huge impact on the cattle industry or fall in line with the apparent

I don't know what will happen - all I'm saying is that the article is lying -- "The Dutch aren’t ending fertilizer. They are limiting the spread of and location of spread of manure on farmlands.

That’s dumb what they are doing, but the article is outright lying
