I don’t know about rail workers, but the IBEW personnel I worked with were overwhelmingly Republicans.
Those in charge of the union were not.
No one ever told me, or anyone I know, who to vote for.

Yes. But what about union leadership. They are probably all democratic. So the union dues went to Biden and in 2016, Hillary. Funny thing is that Hillary lost 2016 and union members is a large reason why (same thing happened in 2020, apparently but that discussion is for another thread).

Problem is the union leaders elected by the good guys are corrupt democrat scum. How to reconcile?

If the membership was overwhelmingly Republican, why do the members let the leadership make campaign contributions to Democrats?
