Dolta7 Vlad is not leaving the ethnic Russian provinces, get used to it.

So then you, dolta7 are advocating that the non-Russian groups split off from Moscow -- cool

No, I totally disagree with the whole two-nations-for-two-peoples trope. The other ethnic groups within all of the Eastern European countries should just learn to get along. They actually do most times, when they don’t have a reactionary megalomaniac stirring the pot and providing the ordnance.

“Vlad is not leaving the ethnic Russian provinces, get used to it.”

Vlad is not going to have much of a say in the matter, because the Ukrainian nation will kick his horde out, and he will be leaving the Kremlin the hard way shortly thereafter.

whole two-nations-for-two-peoples trope.

exactly

If I am not reading too much into it, would that mean you also oppose the creation of a "Palestinian state" from the west bank and gaza (or lesser areas) but favor more of an Israel for all?

“The problem of the US foreign policy is that it is all about gaslighting, and they’ll they say that the victim is the problem.”

Putin’s a “victim” now? GMAFB. He’s a serial “victim”. Poor little Vlad was a “victim” in Georgia, a “victim” in Crimea, a “victim” in Chechnya. He becomes a “victim” of some other country that forces him to invade them every time he’s making a killing in energy market. He’s said what his agenda is, the restoration of Russian imperial greatness.

Enjoy the read.

As for Zelensky, nice talking points. I don’t buy a bit of it.

Ukraine has said it is open for peace when Russia withdraws.

Anything else is not a negotiation as the Russian side consistently lied until Feb 24 that they would not invade.

They can’t be trusted.

If Putin hadn’t been threatening his neighbors, he would have won over Ukraine by soft power.

The Ukrainians prior to 2013 were pretty ambivalent. And dial back to 2000 and they were positive about Moscow - that is until Putin came to power and removed the mask, so it became apparent that he would not be a “friendly big power” but a conquering power.

He could have gotten an ever-closer union if he had played nicer

Making your top (im)possible objective a starting point of negotiations is a no-go, of course.

Biden can’t be trusted, either. He knew what Putin would do if he had the resources due to a spike in oil and LNG, and he drove the price through the roof, perfectly aware that it would lead to a war. And now he’s posing around about how Ukraine must prevail, and democracy, and blah and blah and blah (and NWO). I wonder how much Hunter got from the Mayor of Moscow’s wife for him to do this grift. Or was he going to do this regardless. It sure wasn’t just to please AOC and the wokesters.

Nonetheless, helping Ukraine is the right thing for now, and also an obligation under the Budapest Memorandum. They gave up their nukes. Russia agreed to respect their sovereignty, and the West agreed to have Ukraine’s back in case Russia was lying, which of course Russia was.

So Nosewanking you Russians think it impossible for you to leave the land you illegally grabbed in Ukraine?

Well, you had 27% of Ukraine occupied in march.

By September that fell to 18%

Now it us 15% and falling g.

If you won’t leave the land you have murdered for, you will be chased out

Biden is equally complicit.

He gave up Afghanistan and he was going to give up Ukraine. But the Ukrainians fought and shamed the USA under Biden to help

And the only reason most conservatives who are against Ukraine right now are against it is because Biden is pretending to be for it. But right is right. The Ukrainian people are the ones who are standing up to the bully, and that must be supported.
