While what you state is true, it is also somewhat of an indictment against 45 for not going scorched earth while in office. Yes, it could have gotten ugly (uglier!) and we could have faced a constitutional crisis (been there) but the flag would have been planted further into enemy territory.

More signs the rats cut a deal to give the ‘Republicans” the House. I have no doubt the rats could have stolen a few more seats and kept it.
I think we are getting confirmation that most elected republicans in DC are not conservative at all. Just RINO democrat assistants as we have long suspected.
The solution is to kick every last one of the scum sucking RINOs to the curb and vote in actual conservative patriots.
The problem is the rinos help the dems cheat in every election in return for getting selected (not elected).
When the ballot box is fully corrupted and no longer works........ Not a lot of options left.
Democrats and the old GOP want Trump and all his allies eliminated and McCarthy is the guy they’ve outsourced the job to.
Whoever might be second choice will be no better. A MAGA speaker will never happen in this House.
Worst case: The Dems *all* vote for a ‘liz cheney’ type of republican, along with a handful of raging RINO’s, and we end up with a RINO speaker, elected by all democrats and 10 Republicans.
We all KNOW there are at least 10 democrats disguising themselves as republicans for years.

I would prefer the new Congress be completely hogtied and NOT PASS ANYTHING - especially SPENDING on ANYTHING.
I don’t care what happens in the GOP House, they are inept and do not represent their constituency.
There is a coalition od democrats, independents, and republicans that are America First.
Such a coalition may be bigger in numbers than either GOP or democrats.
90% of repubs, 70% of indies, and 25% of dems are America First.
McCarthy will likely end up Speaker. The conservative caucus is just trying to obtain some concessions from him upfront which they should totally do. A RINO will always be Speaker.
