Beau is a Union Guy. Now, retired, but keeps is Electrical and Plumbing licenses up to date - just in case.
He was also in the Labor Union, where he worked himself up into the more lucrative trades and ended up as a Foreman on huge construction jobs - power plants, wastewater treatment facilities, new subdivisions, The Kohl Center (I worked on that project, too, but we didn’t know one another back then) and the famous ‘Mistake by the Lake’ Frank Lloyd Wright center in Madistan, WI. Not bad for a kid that started out building silos for a living. ;)
He would agree with you heartily about the intelligence of some of the everyday laborers. He annoys the HECK out of me, ‘Mansplaining’ minor details to me if I’m working on a home project. Dude! I KNOW what I’m doing, LOL!
Ha. Maybe you should get him to do some projects to get him out of the house.
That or he needs a hobby. Lots of people can’t just chill after retirement.
