I believe that there are studies that there is more domestic violence among lesbian couples than straight couples. But it might have been less among gay male couples.
FWIW:
Around 44% of lesbian and 61% of bisexual women have experienced forms of rape and physical violence by an intimate partner as compared to 35% of straight women.
26% of gay men and 37% of bisexual men have experienced forms of rape and physical violence by an intimate partner compared to 29% of straight men.

I had a homo boss several years ago whose significant other, “BJ” (I know ... I know...) and their “friends” were around a lot of the time. They had rental properties that they only rented to other like themselves. They were forever fixing holes in walls from punchings and stabbings, broken doors and fixtures, and such resulting from the boys’ hissy fits. Domestic violence was on display all the time.
You beat me to it, though I was going to comment that most cops will tell you that, based on their experience.

Apparently not. I guess he was all in “for the cause” when things were’t so favorable to that perv crowd — back in the mid-’90s. He owned — maybe still does — a huge travel company you’d probably recognize if I said the name, so he could afford the repairs.

But seriously, 1/3rd of heterosexual relationships are abusive? This sounds like push-polling, or Kinsey Report type stuff.
Think about it one woman by her self dangerous enough. Think about two of them.
