Certify an election, take the jab. Everything is done “under duress” when you have leftists in charge. Get used to it.

When the result of the canvass is determined

/\

It wasn’t determined.

It was in question

and needed to be investigated and validated.

Arizona must have an incredible number of low information voters living there. How do they allow a corrupted Sec of State continue to serve in that very position while running for Governor. Then she steps in to sue counties that will not certify a corrupted election???? certy a

If the official canvass of any county has not been received on the fourth Monday following the general election, the canvass shall be postponed from day to day, not to exceed thirty days from the date of the election, until canvasses from all counties are received.

The canvasses of both Cochise and Mohave County were complete. There's no basis to postpone.

Canvassing means something different in AZ.In AZ it means the process where local election officials confirm results by reviewing and finalizing the unofficial results reported on election night. In Cochise the 2 repubs voted against canvassing, so it isn’t complete in Cochise.

In other words in AZ the term for certifying is canvassing. Cochise didn’t certify.

I know it can be confusing in their use of terms. But they are not being sued for not certifying, they are being sued for not canvassing. So the canvassing isn't complete. lawsuit

IIRC there's another chapter missing from your AZ manual story. I don't recall all the details but I believe the GOP had wanted changes of some sort, but Hobbs found a judge to rule there wasn't enough time to institute the GOP changes before this election so the old, Hobbs created, were left in place. Folks from AZ likely recall more details, but if I'm in the ballpark then (1) perhaps the AG and Gov hadn't really signed off on these rules for this election (kind of like countries didn't really sign their certifications, a judge de facto signed for them) and (2) the courts have shown a willingness to alter rules here in the past.

The canvas in Mohave County was never in question, as Supervisor Gould himself stated:

“We’re only canvassing Mohave County’s Election, and we didn’t have problems.”

The state canvass is another matter. The returns from Maricopa County and Pima County, in particular, do need to be investigated.
