They can’t legislate away inalienable rights, such as freedom of religion, which is exactly what they’re trying to do with this abomination. But if people don’t fight back, the degenerates will win anyway by default.

The time for gentle persuasion and “voting” is demonstrably long gone. Americans are going to have to fight for their rights if they want to retain them, and I don’t mean politically.

What is he waiting for? He actually should’ve destroyed the place in 1973 with abortion.

The whole point of this bill is to silence churches and to sue them if they try to uphold traditional values.

Much ado about nothing. We have bigger fish to fry. That said, the only question I have is that if we left it up to the states, what will the IRS do? That would be an interesting question. It doesn’t matter anyway because we are not going to touch the issue. Brett Kavanaugh is unlikely to approach the issue in the Supreme Court.

[He actually should’ve destroyed the place in 1973 with abortion.]

Certainly grievous. Though I think the so-called “partial-birth” is the worst of the worst. That is, up to the point where they’re going right up to full term.

[What is he waiting for?]

Well, it’s a good question, though I think the transgressors have not quite “come to the full” - and the Gospel is still being spread.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

And, perhaps not coincidentally, the following verse was on their opening page - which is right after what I was about to search above.

2 Peter 3:10-11 (New King James Version)

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

You’re probably correct.

The spirit of antichrist is waging war on the Word of God. Just as it has done for centuries.

The bad news is there will be short-term “wins” for the goats.

The good news is the redeemed sheep and the Word of God win in the final analysis.

I was somewhat surprised when Judge Thomas just blurted that big picture goal out. I would expect that kind of uninhibited act from someone like The Wise Latina or The Non-Biologist. Thomas usually seemed to be more discreet.

It’s never a good idea to become overconfident of success in this present-day America if your goal is anything other than radically progressive.

“I respect that others hold different beliefs,” Lummis said.

Bizarre. The bill gives lefties the hook to prosecute people and businesses and churches who voice disagreement with homosexual marriage.

All beliefs are equal to Lummis. But some beliefs are more equal than others.

Not the first time Todd Young (Indiana) has disappointed, and probably won’t be the last. He was just reelected.

Marriage is defined in the Bible as “one man, one woman”. So no matter what, 2 dudes can never really be “married”. United. Linked. Joined. Not married

"I personally disagree with abortion, but I'll vote for infanticide." -- Gutless politician of either party

That’s like saying, I am personally against bank robbery, but I don’t want to interfere with anyone’s right, to rob banks. What idiots.

No, that amendment isn’t in it.

Long and short, you can and will be sued, restrained, jailed if necessary, if you claim religious objections of any kind to sexual perversion and marriage however defined.

2 Peter 3:8-9 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

A) God is patient.
B) In case you have not noticed, society is imploding mainly due to social ills.
C) The Constitution was not amended, just some law that can be overturned by another Congress or nuked by the Supreme Court for being unconstitutional in theory.
D) Thomas is not afraid of the Pink Mafia which is a breath of fresh air in this period of extreme cowardice of individuals too scared to point out truths.

Marriage is finished. It is meaningless now.

This legislation forces all states to accept what any one state enacts.

That means when Utah reinstates polygamy, all states must accept polygamy.

That means when Minnesota lowers the age of marriage to appease its muslim population, all states will have to lower the age of marriage.

That means when California allows women to marry their pets, all states will have to recognize that.
