If sales are totally suspended, what will be the state’s motivation to implement a process? It could drag on forever.

This is even worse than Illinois’ FOID card law.

"But the promoters of the initiative didn’t mention that. The measure was sold as a “common sense” safety law. It requires a police permit before you can buy a firearm, and to get a permit you have to prove you know how to use a gun. What’s wrong with that? Well, the law also says that to get a permit to buy a gun, you have to prove completion of a firearms training course that is “offered by law enforcement, a community college, or a private or public institution or organization or firearms training school utilizing instructors certified by a law enforcement agency…”Local police and sheriffs do not “certify” instructors for the general public. Nor do they offer public firearms training. Linn-Benton Community College doesn’t offer such training either.
The 2nd amendment provides law abiding citizens a right not a privilege. The USSC should strike down any law that attempts to take away that right. Hopefully, Oregon's restrictive law will be struck down by the USSC.

Make your choice, drugs or the right to bear arms. States that legalize drugs will regard you even more as slaves and violate your constitutional rights.

And an enormous increase in the drug popularity paradigm will precede a state’s decision to legalize a drug. Such a state is already brimming with Democrat voters. Marijuana turns most of its users to the left. The interests growing, selling and promoting the drug abuse also usher in more public corruption by way of increased regulations and bribery. An increased influx of people from corrupt countries ensues, sending the process into a vicious circle.

"It requires a police permit before you can buy a firearm."I may be OK with this nowadays..
Maybe they (the stinking lawyers) need to collect up ALL the guns in the rat states.. The less guns for democrats, the better.....nothing worse then a bunch of commies with guns.. :(
