Former President Donald Trump again rejected the result of Arizona’s gubernatorial election Monday, calling for Republican Kari Lake to be declared the winner due to a supposed “criminal voting operation.”
“Massive numbers of ‘BROKEN’ voting machines in Republican Districts on Election Day. Mechanics sent in to ‘FIX’ them made them worse,” Trump, 76, said in a Truth Social post without offering evidence. “Kari had to be taken to a Democrat area, which was working perfectly, to vote. Her opponent ran the Election.”
Trump added it was “SO OBVIOUS” that Lake, 53, should not have lost to Democrat Katie Hobbs, Arizona’s 52-year-old secretary of state.
Hobbs defeated Lake by a little more than 17,000 votes out of more than 2.5 million ballots cast.
The 45th president also referenced his own failed re-election bid in 2020, which he continues to claim was the result of widespread voter fraud.
“Kari Lake should be installed Governor of Arizona,” Trump said. “This is almost as bad as the 2020 Presidential Election, which the [House] Unselect Committee refuses to touch because they know it was Fraudulent!”

You either follow the rule of law or you have anarchy and “install” people into office.
I have ZERO doubt Lake and Trump were cheated by election fraud. But unless and until the state election laws are change to require verifiable voting methods, audits, transparency, and accountability and stipulate what happens if election fraud is proven (i.e. under what circumstances new elections are held) - absolutely NOTHING will change.
THIS is what Trump should have been focusing on since 2020, not just playing golf. He could have been the leader of a national movement with operations in every state to improve election laws as described above. Many states just stipulate criminal penalties for those who stuff ballot boxes, etc - nothing about re-doing elections that are proven to have been held under fraudulent conditions.
This is not up for debate, it is a matter of fact.
Fix the laws or continue to get more Kari Lake losses.
