The sun hasn’t shown very brightly on the British Empire for quite some time, either.
Interesting, when France’s nuclear plants are downed then it’s a double whammy with England being without power.
Those who have consistently kept their usage down won’t be paid but those who normally leave on every light in the house but turns them off for that one night will get paid. Yeah, that definitely makes sense.
France is a net importer of electricity, mostly from Germany.
So the exports to Britain are balanced by imports from somewhere else.
Sounds like a shell game, or musical chairs and it’s all unnecessary.
