I have two persons renting my 2nd house. They each have paid their half of the rent via Venmo or Zelle this year. The new reporting is going to add some complexity to filing the Form C to account for the rent, taxes, insurance, maintenance on the rental. It's nuisance paperwork. I fully account for the 12 months of rent income on the Form C, so this generates extra work for which the government won't earn a penny.
