Presidents aren’t going to be effective unless they can work with other factions of their party. MAGA Republicans couldn’t elect a speaker on their own. McCarthy has been better than Ryan was, if that’s saying anything.

"They" have already started that process with ChiCom Globalist Kenneth Griffin chastising DeSantis for sending illegal aliens to Martha's Vineyard (which I thought was a brilliant move).

DeSantis needs to publicly rebuke Griffin for his criticism, and basically tell him to STFU in a very public way.

If DeSantis is going to kowtow to the "country club" wing of the Republican Party, I'll be more that happy to ignore his potential candidacy for 2024.

About 30 years ago I had a lib friend (before everyone got crazy and violent). I teased him that the only research I ever needed to do was drive by his house. The names on the signs told me to vote for the other guy.

In 2018, Paul Ryan encouraged the 30+ GOP incumbent retirements; as Speaker, he made no calls to stop anyone from retiring; and then Ryan helped paper over the vast expansion of ballot fraud that year.
