Uh, gopE and “leadership” are not to be used in a sentence.

Andy Biggs and Kevin McCarthy (for example) simply don’t belong in the same political party.
The system is not two parties.
McCarthy has to go.
More of the do nothing we have come to expect. All talk, no meaningful action. Sounds like the same gop that ensured we were masked, locked down, operation warp speed and mail in ballots.
McCarthy is losing votes from some conservatives
Some hope left finish him off asap.
While it is not constitutionally a two party system, it has become a defacto two party system.
The ‘Lip Service Season’ aka The Midterm selection is over. Time to make some money.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
"THERE IS ONLY ONE!"
And how would having more political parties help?
In every country that has multiple political parties it is the fringe parties that have outsized power. European countries are farther along the road to socialist hell because of radical parties having excessive influence.
Or you could look at Israel. How many elections have they had in the past few years because they couldn’t form a government?
It has become de facto a one party system.
The GOPe and the America First wings of the republican party have become separate parties with the GOPe more aligned with the democrats hence their RINO label.
“In every country that has multiple political parties it is the fringe parties that have outsized power.”
Perhaps a bit naive of me, but wouldn’t it be great if the GOPe Party NEEDED the assistance of the “fringe” Conservative Party in order to form a governing majority in Congress, and Squish McCarthy would therefore have to make certain concessions instead of just taking the same liberal path to hell that the Democrats always take when they are officially in charge?
I suppose the naive part is assuming that the GOPe even gives a damn about having a majority, when they are so much more comfortable being on the minority side of the Uniparty.
Chip Roy gave a helluva speech on broken congress and the United States of free stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pq2vpd00euA
I don’t want a fringe Conservative Party. I want the GOPe to be driven out completely. I want them run into exile.
Plus, imagine the having the Green Party or the socialist party having to work with democrats. Things are bad now, but imagine having even more restrictions on freedom because of deals with whack job parties. We would be like Europe.
“Plus, imagine the having the Green Party or the socialist party having to work with democrats“
That’s exactly what has happened. The Greens and Socialists have merged with the rats. No more Green spoilers and they fund the Libertarians.
The middle-class remains unrepresented - by design.
Question:
Why is new leadership and rule making for the next Congress not made by the next Congress in 2023?? Why is the old Congress dictating what is to be for the new?? I don’t believe the next Congress is even complete - yet!
