I was around for some true disasters. Check out the Xigris story in around 2011. There are therapies that go completely toes up. I do think the good thing out of this is monoclonal therapy. It’s something that is targeted and I think is nonobjectionabe to even the most recalcitrant. I think on my lifetime and beyond mRNA platforms will be very very good. It’s an elegant solution to problems.

Mortality rates are abnormally high. How high is being intentionally manipulated in national statistics. This is being seen across the mRNA vaccine countries. No one appears to be searching for the reason. That is very odd to me.
I did not like the government controls the western nations implemented during Covid. The behavior of governments since the start in 2020 through today has and is nefarious. Sorry if you don’t see it. If you do and are arguing over the number of excess deaths then ok. The vaccine caused more adverse effect than any in modern history. That is a fact. Mortality rates are excessive. That is a fact. Normal methodologies have been thrown out by CDC/ FDA. Fact again.
Governments want a decreased population to save the Earth. Fact.
I don’t know everything but I do know when I’m being lied to about reality.
Mortality was excessive. Prevaccine it was sky high. There are true believers on both sides of the scientific and political debate. One thing this has shown me is that the sciences and the politics should never be mixed.
The thing that concerns me is the lack of checks on things that are just just patently wrong. There are very fundamental laws of biology that because everyone including you and me had an interactive place for argument can become impassioned and inflame.
Above someone I generally disagree with who I respect in terms of opinion and it’s fun sparring with him opined he looks through the lens of common snake. While I often say to my patients a great amount of things is obvious, sometimes scientific method throws a curve ball. I suppose the classic story is common sense was geocentric and it was out of left field with Kepler and Galileo that the common sense was set on its head.
I just rewatched the pilot of newsroom. Clearly an anti tea party liberal show. But the opening monologue rang true. We are not the greatest country. But we sure could be. There was a time when we made laws and struck down laws for moral reasons. We made ungodly scientific advances, built the worlds greatest economy, explored the stars, and we weren’t afraid. We were not defined by who we vote for. We were informed. And we revered knowledge. And great men.
I know what I observed and saw. People who never stood in what I saw instead called me a liar and a fraud. It’s ok I know the truth. I also see things for what they are. Now the vaccination campaign I would agree is governmental tyranny. But the effects of the vaccine are unequivocally not what is broadcast with great passion and vigor here. I keep my eyes open and the most common question I ask myself is am I wrong or missing something. But the evidence for a lot of stuff posted simply is not there.
As for the politics I think the government will always try to expand control. America is no longer great. It’s mediocre as it is descended to tyranny. That’s why the guy with the red hat resonates. American spirit demands the belief that America is the greatest country on Gods green earth. Because it’s governed of for an by the people. When this is transgressed, we fall.
Trump resonance precisely because of his Americanism and patriotism. Were he to stop unforced errors, he would be better the Reagan. Business is the art of the deal. Politics is the art of the possible. Not the same thing.

The multiple 100K per week is a worldwide estimate, not a U.S. number. The U.S. is officially #16 in cumulative death rate from the virus.
The worldwide Covid death numbers were converging, but the reported Covid death rates have plummeted, due to the low severity and high contagiousness of the omicron variant. Yet total all-cause death rates are reported significantly higher in all countries with reliable data, that also have significant Covid deaths (so Central Africa is excluded).
Except one: these States, per CDC data, are slightly down for most of 2022, almost every week starting the end of January, 2022.
The birth rates are reported down in every country where I have found reliable data. That number is down by 10% to 23%. Except these States where birth rates are reported slightly higher.
Life insurance companies in the States have reported massive losses. Some of that is due to interest rates rising, some to cancellations. But neither of these should be significant in group life insurance, which 99%+ insures working people with higher incomes. Yet those are reporting actual of expected death claims from 10% higher (as near as I can tell from the data) to 150%-250% higher. IOW 2.5x to 3.5x a normal death rate and payout rate. Yet the official government data says flat to fewer deaths. One of these sets of numbers is terribly wrong.
Lincoln National is paid an extra $2,984,000,000 (a 140.6% increase) in claims, vs. an 11% increase in premiums 3Q 2022 vs. 3Q 2021.
Example: Lincoln National reported a $2.6 billion loss in the third quarter 2022. At most, roughly $200 million could be interest rate rises, $60 million cancellations.
Flipside: Service Corporation International (death care services, aka funeral homes) is not showing revenue gains in 2022. That could be due to flat deaths, along with less money spent per funeral.
I try to triple check numbers to get real results. Net numbers say most of the increase in deaths is from working adults who received the injections, as a big part of the workforce was ordered to get the shots to keep working.
This mRNA vax was experimental when it was released, no question about it, the most minimal of testing was done.
As such, I can see no rational analysis which would reflect poorly on people that opted to sit out the mass trials. Assuming of course the assessment is made from a freedom/liberty respecting position. From a communist perspective, those people did not due their duty to the people! They shirked their responsibility! Everyone pulls the trigger in this game, comrade.
I agree the mRNA pitch is a very elegant solution. We don’t need a factory to make this antibody, we instruct your body how to make antibodies! Very cool idea. Requires a lot of trust though (I need to trust the medical community is writing good code), and the med community is fresh out of that.
It doesn’t matter how cool the technology is if its success was achieved by running through a bunch of unwilling human test subjects to fine-tune the code.
If this went down the way I suspect it did, then the world forgot that they were supposed to “Never forget”.
Thanks for the tip on Xigris, I had never heard of it. I will say, that one is not as dangerous as the mRNA treatment because from looking into it, that was a last ditch effort for people that were about to die from sepsis. Seems like a con to get more money out of dying people right there at the end ($8k for a course of treatment!). It’s interesting that it was approved and stayed on the market for so long before people figured out it wasn’t doing much.
Consider, to this day we’re giving the current mRNA vax to healthy kids. It is tuned to the original and Omicron strains. Both of which blew through long ago. The pitch for mRNA is that they can very rapidly develop vaccines and get ahead of an outbreak. So why are they putting out vax for old strains then? The vax should be tuned to whatever is emerging now, right?

It appears the Spring 2020 spike in overall deaths coincides with the sedation/ventilation protocols that were a treatment overkill ... literally IMO.
The second spike in overall deaths, Winter ‘20-’21, coincides with the jab being released from trials and given to the general public ... elderly first.
