EU Parliament Hit by Cyber Attack Moments After Declaring Russia a State Sponsor of Terrorism

The website of the EU parliament experienced a significant cyber attack on Wednesday shortly after it declared Russia a state sponsor of terrorism.

Just moments after passing a resolution classifying the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of terrorism, the EU Parliament experienced a significant cyber attack that appeared to knock its website largely offline.

Spearheaded by the populist Sweden Democrat parliamentarian Charlie Weimers MEP, the symbolic resolution condemning the actions of Vladimir Putin’s Russia was overwhelmingly passed by the bloc’s parliament, with 494 votes in favour of the resolution versus 58 against.

“Don’t call us Neocons...”

No one has as that wouldn’t be nice. You guys are NEOCON SUPPORTERS (in other words, useful ifpts), REAL Neocons are too busy trying to start wars than to waste their time here.

“meanwhile you say squat as yet more evidence emerges of RUSSIAN war crimes in the occupied areas”

So it’s ok to SUPPORT AND DEFEND Hitler because Stalin was accused of committing war crimes.

Keep deflecting, it’s kind of fun here!

Nice try at DEFLECTION. Still can’t bring yourselves to admitting you’re supporting war crimes.

Exactly how is it a deflection? And if it is deflection, why are you not also "deflecting" by alleging Ukrainian war crimes in response to Russia being designated a state supporter of terrorism (which is objectively true, by the way)?

Deflection because you Neocon supporters will NEVER admit to supporting governments (Ukraine) and movements (like ISIS) that commit widespread war crimes.

...even when you guys FULL WELL KNOW IT.

As it is, it’s over for the Neocons, as it’s not just US conservatives that are no longer fooled, it’s also 87% of the world’s governments (by population) are NOT supporting the Neocon ‘sanctions’ this time...they are at least neutral, and so the Neocons are going to have to deal with a world that is now sick and tired of their behavior.

Isn't that pure projection? You support Russia which, objectively, historically, verifiably, has been in the terrorism business since--as another poster pointed out--1917? What about the mass bombings of Chechen civilians? Or the public gang rape fests of MEN? For example: "According to Andrei Mironov of the Russian human rights organization Memorial, as cited by Miriam Lanskoy of Boston University, Russian forces stationed in Chechnya recently committed an organized mass rape of Chechen civilian males. During a fact-finding trip to the North Caucasus, Mironov learned of an incident which took place earlier this month: “Over 700 men (I was given a list of 762 names) were taken to a field. They [the Russian soldiers] raped a woman in front of them.” The Russian troops, Mironov related, then taunted the Chechen men, calling on them to defend the woman’s honor. Those who intervened, sixty-two men, were themselves then “handcuffed to an armored personnel carrier, and publicly raped.” “Never before have I heard about public rape,” Mironov commented, “Of course, people were systematically raped in prisons and detention centers, and [in] military units. This was intended to break their character. But now this is being done in public.” Mironov added that many of the Chechen men who had been publicly raped vowed that they would now become suicide attackers (Eurasianet, July 19)."

As far as I remember--maybe you'll prove me wrong--you've never admitted to the widespread nature of Russia's crimes against civilians either at home or abroad, exactly as you're accusing us of doing. Interestingly, to prove your point, you're even accusing us now of being supporters of ISIS. If you were rational, you'd understand how insane that is. But you're not, and you're projecting your faults on us.

“Isn’t that pure projection? You support Russia”

When did I say that. I only support NEUTRALITY.

“As far as I remember—maybe you’ll prove me wrong—you’ve never admitted to the widespread nature of Russia’s crimes against civilians either at home or abroad”

As a supporter of neutrality, I don’t need to.

When did I say that. I only support NEUTRALITY.

A brief survey of your past 20-30 posts have you accusing Ukrainians of using human shields and regurgitating non-stop Russian propaganda. And in this thread, you're accusing us of supporting ISIS in response to bad conduct by Russia.

That's hardly being neutral. If it isn't supporting Russia unconditionally, then the only remaining option is that you have some kind of mental illness. Now that I think about just how irrational you are, I am partial to this possibility.

Please stop pretending to know anything about warfare. In the Bible, God recommended killing false prophets after just one false prophecy. By such standards, you'd all be dead a thousand times over.

When people take sides in a conflict such as happening in Ukraine most have already determined prior where they will stand - it really makes no difference how or where it began - they've already selected the one they see as the enemy well before the actual conflict. So they will always ‘seek’ whatever they can find to substantiate the side they've chosen.

Ukraine's consistent history of conflicts, both from within and without evidences it's not really any different than other 3rd world countries always in conflict no matter how much they want to proclaim themselves as western...they simply are not. Their cycle never changes of being rescued, rebuilding what they've destroyed, and smiling all the way to the bank as they take in funds from other nations. THA is what they are and what they do....and even their citizens have said as much.

“A brief survey of your past 20-30 posts have you accusing Ukrainians”

Not just me, pal. Why do you think the Neocons are only able to get 13% of the world to support sanctions? If Russia was REALLY as bad as the Neocons claim (or Ukraine was as pure as the wind-driven snow), many more countries would be joining us, as our incentives (and for that matter, punishments) are FAR MORE than Russia can offer.

If Russia was REALLY as bad as the Neocons claim, North Korea wouldn't agree with me!

Fixed your argument for you. It's one of your greatest, most well thought out so far.

“Fixed your argument for you.”

How about India? We were quite friendly with them, until all this anti-Russia crap, but now they’re back to being friendly with Russia and China...great move by the Neocons.

What's fortunate is we can simply let you deal with your own reality as has often occurs on threads you engage in. And we can also ignore you even when you hammer for attention which you often do. Other times we can just scroll by your comments which is very easy to do.

Someday perhaps you'll enter reality as it is - meanwhile and until that day we get to observe what it is to live in your own manufactured fantasy world.

When people take sides in a conflict

Caww, I remember when you were claiming Ukraine shot down MH17 despite all evidence to the contrary. You took sides back in 2014 and have been quite consistent since then.

If you guys ACTUALLY ignored me, it would be preferable! Instead I have to deal with non-stop irrational posts, death threats, and insults from inferior people pretending to be superior.
