The House Democratic leadership had nothing to say this week about GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy's pledge to boot three of their members from their committed assignments when Republicans take power in January.
Fox News Digital reached out to every member of the present Democratic leadership — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn — about the topic, but no response was provided. The top three Democrats likely to ascend to the leadership ladder next Congress – Reps. Hakeem Jeffries, Katherine Clark and Pete Aguilar – also declined to comment.

McCarthy, the Republican designee for the next House speaker, told Fox News' Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that when his party takes control of the House in January, it will make good on a long-held promise to bar Omar, Schiff and Swalwell from committees.
The GOP leader said Swalwell's prior association with a Chinese spy, Schiff’s promotion of Russia collusion theories and Omar’s criticism of Israel were disqualifying.
"One thing I said from the very beginning, Eric Swalwell cannot get a security clearance in the public sector," said McCarthy. "Why would we ever give him a security clearance and the secrets to America? So, I will not allow him to be on" the House Intelligence Committee, where he currently serves under Democratic leadership.
"You have Adam Schiff, who lied to the American public time and again. We will not allow him to be on the [Intelligence] Committee either," McCarthy added. Schiff now chairs that committee.
"Look at Congresswoman Omar, her antisemitic comments that have gone forward," McCarthy added. "We're not going to allow her to be on Foreign Affairs," where she serves today.

They should have been gone long ago. They have been a drag on the American Political System.

Perhaps they don’t think they will lose the majority and have a plan to get it back quickly, so they can rub it in the gop face.
I suspect Nancy hates Omar and AOC more than most of us.

Swalwell got caught sleeping with a Chinese Spy. The point being he got CAUGHT. He is an embarrassment.
I think if you’d taken a up-and-down vote from the House Democrats...these particular people were noted for drawing negative attention, and not helping the ‘brand’. But they couldn’t cancel them or dump them. Republicans doing them a favor now.

Bingo. They have a plan and they know that McCarthy and the GOP aren’t going to be the party making committee assignments. whether it’s Republicans switching parties and/or the special counsel targeting Republican members of the House, the Rats know they will be the majority again very soon.
Being booted is a kindness.

McCarthy should stop announcing what he’s going to do. This gives the Dems ammunition to fight back in the media. He should wait until he’s sworn in as Speaker, then lower the hammer (hat tip to Paul Pelosi).

Kevin McCarthy should shut up until he’s taken power. All he’s doing is giving ample warning to democrats on how to dodge taking responsibility for anything.
And what’s more stupid than telling Alejandro Mayorkas to ‘resign or else’... WE WANT MAYORKAS TO testify. We want to know what the hell was going on.
