He has gone bull in a china shop with this leadership position. It is a really bad look before he is officially in the Speaker seat. He is giving away all his game plan. WHY????

Two decades late and trillions of dollars short. Sorry McCarthy. That boat has sailed.

The exact job of Congress is to impeach seditionists like Mayorkas. But threatening to do it and then “compromising” is just stupid.

Yeah Kevin’s all over the TV now. The Media needs to needs to make sure the Deep State is in charge. Yep, they’re trying to make him look like a good republican tough-guy. But Kevin’s a phoney.
Either impeach people, or arrest them and charge them with perjury, or lying to Congress. Start with Mayorkas and Fauci. When we start locking people up for their flagrant dishonesty, others might think twice before blatantly lying to the public with impunity.
Kevin, if you’re not willing to arrest amd impeach traitors, then STFU - you’re just another traitor.

McCarthy threatens to impeach Mayorkas, but won’t impeach the criminal who appointed him?

Look at slimy Mayorkas sitting next to then VP Biden as he enthuses over the replacement of white Americans by illegal immigrants.

Methinks Kevin is blowing smoke.
From every FReepers fav reference, Wikipedia:
Under the United States Constitution, the House of Representatives has the sole power of impeachments while the Senate has the sole power to try impeachments (i.e., to acquit or convict); the validity of an impeachment trial is a political question that is nonjusticiable (i.e.., is not reviewable by the courts).[13] In the United States, impeachment is a remedial rather than penal process,[13][14]:β8β intended to "effectively 'maintain constitutional government' by removing individuals unfit for office";[14]:β8β persons subject to impeachment and removal remain "liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law."[14]
Yeah, they
might be able to get this through the House but the Senate represents a major stumbling block, IMHO.
