Former President Donald J. Trump holds a towering 30-point lead over the rest of the potential 2024 Republican primary field, according to a poll.

In an Emerson College Polling survey released Tuesday, 55.1 percent of registered voters said they would vote for Trump in the 2024 GOP primary, placing him 30.3 points ahead of his nearest competitor, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL). The Florida governor garnered 24.8 percent of the response.

So are we supposed to trust these polls, or not?

I will also answer that poll.

The kid with the Hispanic accent calling, claiming I am his Grandma & HE needs bail money-—NOT A PENNY.

I YELL QUITE LOUDLY INTO THE PHONE-—and NOT with POLITE WORDS.

Because we don’t listen to the lame-stream media telling us how awful he is for us.

And how he sure can’t win.

And how nice they would be to us if we ran someone else.

And see that briar patch over there...??

I just trust my own common sense, which says nobody is beating Donald Trump in a national GOP primary, and anyone saying otherwise is naïve or delusional.

Liz Cheney 4%, now that tells me something about the people being polled.

If all polls were banned until 2025 it would make me happy. The vote totals of current elections are a joke so polls are officially meaningless.

Trump is going to be the Republican nominee, and there is little they can do about it.

Of course they will try. Just thinking ahead, they will try fudging the numbers (as they do with ALL elections now) in the primaries so that Trump doesn’t “win” them.

And they’ll have other tricks.

And then AFTER he gets the nomination, they will try preventing him from being on the ballot (for insurrection and such). But that won’t work either. And if it does, we will write him in, and those ballots will have to be HAND COUNTED, which they obviously don’t like.

So we’re in for some games for two years.

But the end result will be the same. Trump will be a force they will need to reckon with...AGAIN! He was supposed to be vanquished by now, marginalized, ostracized and exiled. But nope. He’s still there. And we’re still there with him.

We want the disruptor who was cheated in 2020. DeSantis in 2028 perhaps, and remember he’s a politician through and through.

Doesn’t matter. We allowed Democrats to count votes and that is all that important, per J. Stalin.

That all depends on who counts the votes. Look at the cluster in Arizona. Election Day process went sideways in the first 20 minutes with people waiting seven hours to vote. Hundreds of thousands of votes were sidelined. Election fraud in this country is rampant. There’s no meaningful deterrent.

The mainstream media can only jack up DeSantis so far.

So you’re saying, what, Nikki Haley is going to steal the primary from Donald Trump? There has to be some verisimilitude in even a stolen election, nobody would believe that.

He has the best odds of becoming the Republican nominee, but I think DeSantis has a legit chance. A lot of the early state polls have him ahead, and the later states usually fall like Dominoes behind the leader.

I also wouldn’t put it past the communists to lock Trump up over some nonsense charges. They’re already moving in that direction. Between ballot harvesting and the left having consolidated their power in every major institution, I’m not confident that Trump or anyone can win again. If the returns from Nevada, Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania look in 2024 like they did in 2022, the race is already over. A brain damage radical left candidate running for Senate in Pennsylvania is a pretty good proxy for 82 year old Biden at the top of the ticket. Not encouraging.

In these sort of polls so far out people simply respond to whatever name they hear the most and trump is constantly on the news because the media cannot stop reporting every tweet and feud he has. But that doesn’t necessarily translate to an electoral win.
