It’s kind of hard to lead an “insurrection” when you are telling everyone to “remain peaceful,” and to “support Capitol Police,” and to “stay peaceful.”
Last night Elon Musk reinstated President Trump’s Twitter account, hours after a poll of Twitter users asked if the 45th president should be reinstated.
More than 15 million people participated in the Twitter poll. 51.8% voted yes and 48.2% voted no.
Trump’s Twitter account was up and running shortly after Elon Musk agreed to reinstate it. Since his account was taken down on January 8, 2021, his tweets from that week were the last messages he posted on Twitter before the left silenced him.
And look at what popped up!
“Exposure to true information does not matter any more. A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures. Even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him concentration camps, he will refuse to believe it until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom.”

F everyone who continues to throw him under the bus. On whatever side you think you’re on. Best g-d fighter we’ve had against the flipping uniparty who’s back to kabuki right now. Thanks Turtle.
F all y’all.
Political censorship of this type is either right or wrong. There is no middle ground.
If Musk believes it’s wrong, he should act against it regardless of the results of a bot-infested poll. He shouldn’t have to beg for cover before acting.

A really good quote…the fact that it was issued in 1984 is a nice touch of irony.

I’ve been around a lot of people like that in life. They simply don’t care at all, significantly, until it happens to THEM.
Then, there be wailing.......
I think it may have been done for different reasons. Maybe to draw attention to Trumps Tweets (and Twitter because Musk needs some help with it, it’s not doing so well).
Oh Boy ! I’m going to have some fun in a few hours when I send this to the youngest stepdaughter 😎🇺🇸
Anyone dug up the postings of the Jackass 6th commie-ittee yet ?

My take on the poll is simple. It was bot bait.
What would be the quickest way to discover BOTS? Give them a subject that they could not resist.
Twitter now can look at those “no” votes and see which came from real people and which came from bots.
I am not a expert and don’t know how they do their magic but if they can see what I search for and then send me an ad for that product I am sure they can find a way to identify and eliminate the bots.
Trump was always going to be un-banned, Musk just used this as a way to help him clean up Twitter.
at least that is my opinion.
What time were those tweets made on that day?
As I recall, it took hours for Trump to make any appeals for calm.
Why else would people around him including his family members need to repeatedly ask him to say something?
So true! That is why THINKING in school is not taught! Just indoctrination.
That sounds logical. Trump draws business to the MSM, and it should be gold for Musk/Twitter. (It’s gold, Elon!)
RE: What time were those tweets made on that day?
Let’s say the Tweet occurred after the Capitol breach occurred,
1. How does that prove that he instigated it?
2. How does a Tweet do anything when protesters are in front of the Capitol building?
All we DO KNOW is we have videos of Trump telling his listeners to “peacefully and patriotically” make their voices heard.
If you know if any evidence that shows that Trump encouraged people to riot or be violent, by all means, post them here.
Seconded.

And authorizing thousands of National Guardsmen. Yep, just another political fishing expedition the media promotes as a serious inquiry.
