Why would Cotton even have a say in it?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind. His vote is for which way the wind blows. He has a taste for Washington and is just now reaping the benefits.

I used to like Cotton but after his support for the Turtle I can only surmise that the leftist have something they are holding over him.

We have a pretty good idea what the payoff to “the Big Guy” was. How much was Cotton asking for?

So they want to protect the Saudis from killing a Saudi citizen? Well, doesn’t sound like it’s our concern, plus it didn’t occur in the United States in the first place. While I have lots of other reasons to find any relations with the Saudi’s objectionable, I’m not sure this is a point involve ourselves with.

How is this US business in any way?

Our relationship with the Saudis should not be confused with our relationship with the Saudi leader. We have a very important 80 year relationship with the Saudis. Strategically it needs to continue.

shielding the autocrat from a lawsuit over the 2018 killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

Shielding him? Why does a foreign leader need shielding from the US legal system over something that has no relationship to the US whatsoever? How does the US have any say in this? It's not our business.

Arkansas sure can pick ‘em.

Cotton, apparently,‘ones from a very wealthy and politically connected family. Almost as if his time in the Army was all part of a calculated plan to boost his resume to make him more viable for a senate run

Turns out, aside from some of his rhetoric, he’s nothing more than a globalist shill. Wonder how much his family has profited from his time in the Senate.

The entirity of the outrage over Kashoggi is onnthe left and within the establishment. There’s no reason on the right to care. Kashoggi was a Qatari/Muslim Brotherhood agent and the Saudis treated him like one. The only US angle is that he occasionally wrote anti-Saudi screeds in the Washington Post and had a green card. It’s good to wipe our hands of this, even if it benefits democrats in the short term.
