No fun getting a new one, especially if you have to upgrade a generation. LOL! Good luck!

I’ll be keeping an eye on it, but I know if it gets too rough, we can just stop in one of the little towns along the way and wait it out a bit. I just hope the traffic isn’t off the charts!

I guess I’m a desert rat in that I just don’t know how people tolerate cold like that in Alaska or even some of our northern tier mainland states. I’m a sissy! LOL!

Wishing you a nice, easy, non-rainy, minimal traffic, drive when you hit the road.

It doesn’t look stormy. Just scattered rain. Maybe a shower or two will stick around long enough to wash a little dust off your car as you pass through. LOL

Traffic might be a bigger problem for you and I don’t envy you that part.

I’m with you, being a sissy about cold. LOL Put me on a tropical island and I’ll be one happy, happy camper. :-)

We had Sonic supper yesterday. Nice weather for Comanche Lake too.

Gizmo did enjoy the trip to the lake but as you can see, when I take out the iPhone to take a picture, he stops smiling and when I put it back up, he smiles again.

Thank you, Kathy! Got my fingers and toes crossed! We have so many large oil field trucks on our portion of the Interstate. Makes me a bit nervous.

I don’t know if I’d be ready for tropical humidity and bugs, but somewhere with more trees would suit me. And less sand. :)

Dogs and cats don’t seem to care for cameras. Our cats do the same thing Gizmo does. LOL

No humidity and bugs, no cold and snow . . . I reckon you’ll just have to say in the desert. LOL

We have so many large oil field trucks on our portion of the Interstate.

Now THAT could make someone nervous. Just keep your distance and leave plenty of room for stopping. And let them pass if they get too close. They are usually very good drivers, but I don't like having them front and back.

You know the route and pretty much what to expect. You've got this! 😊

I try to stay well away from them, but when I’m passing someone and look into my rear-view mirror and see nothing but a huge grill, then that makes me nervous. LOL!

We take our time and stop at intervals to keep from getting overly tired.
