“I’m very troubled by Washington DC injecting itself into local activities.”

The preserved union at work.

...people are not prosecuted for what they believe. Criminal acts, violence and threats of violence are what will be prosecuted.

OK, so if a young woman is raped but the man raping her doesn't 'hate' her it's a second level crime? Are these people insane? Also 'rule of law' does NOT mean 'follow the law' because if it did North Korea, Iran, China and Cuba would have 'rule of law'. Every totalitarian hellhole stresses that common citizens must 'follow the law'...(and that 'elites' and their chosen ones get a pass)

The above statement is a lie - in our county and in hellholes around the world - there are groups with 'extra protection'... and groups that are 'fair game'. The sh*ts at the DOJ know the difference... and they're lying to us and to themselves.

Comments?

My only comment is “that is laughable on its face.”

We have plenty of laws against manifestly objective, measurable and physical actions. You cannot introduce “hate” as a modifier to a crime without delving into what a person believes, what his state of mind was when he committed the crime. The very idea of a “hate crime” means you are prosecuting what you think the person believed when they committed the crime.

It’s a ludicrous statement and demonstrably false.

“...they hate the people the DC Party wants hated.”

Exactly right!

“....hate did not exist on this land. It was an introduced thing,”

Some things/people deserve to and must be hated.

PS American Indian tribes tended to be mortal enemies of each other.

" . . . under the U.S. Constitution, everyone is equal regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity...crimes that target individuals or groups based on those characteristics are repugnant to the rule of law.

Then prosecute any school or business or governmental agency that discriminates (via CRT training, racial quotas, racial favoritism, and harassment or punishment for holding Christian viewpoints) against whites, Asians, and Christians, you lying, sanctimonious, gaslighting fraud.

First Amendment in the Bill of Rights, prohibits the government from making “hate crimes” charges.

DOJ releases Hate Crime Statistics.

If DOJ was completely honest about this, they would collect and report stats on the many Hate Crime Hoaxes. You have to wonder how many "crimes" that wind up in their "Hate Crime Statistics" database were hoaxes and they simply ignore that fact? Or how many are trivial like high schoolers throwing rocks at the opposing team's school bus with the football team on it?

Private citizens have undertaken this, but the efforts are spotty. Here's one I found:

fake hate crimes: a database of hate crime hoaxes in the usa

Whereas crimes that don't target individuals or groups based on those characteristics are just fine?

We even have a Human Rights Education Institute right on the North Idaho College campus! It is clearly an overreaction to the area having had the Aryan Nations located in Hayden 40 to 50 years ago. Apparently lots of liberal people still feel shame from that and feel compelled to over-compensate...
AT THE HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION INSTITUTE IT IS OUR MISSION TO CELEBRATE DIVERSITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS BY EDUCATING, RAISING AWARENESS AND RECOGNIZING THE VALUE OF ALL HUMANITY.

The Human Rights Education Institute offers proactive education programs that teach human rights, acceptance, respect for diversity, and cultural humility. Our programs, activities, and events seek to reduce racial prejudice and increase understanding in our community.

We are on a journey to promote human rights for every person in the Pacific Northwest, serving primarily Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana. The institute addresses a wide range of diversity issues including race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic class, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, and job and life circumstances.

These sentiments would ring a LOT more true if they extended the same to conservative people with traditional values and white skin. It's always a one-way street with such liberals.

That explains the buffalo jumps and the extinction of all those prehistoric animals long before the evil Europeans ever set foot in the Americas.

Do they really expect us to buy into this 60s hippy version of savage, stone age people?

I saved the FBI's official hate crime statistics for 2014, which I assume were fairly typical. There were 142 hate crimes recorded against Native Americans, which were attributed to 96 perpetrators: 56 white, 23 black, 3 Native American, 5 multiple race, and 9 unknown.

This averages to fewer than 3 crimes per states, and about 1.1 white perp per state. That hardly seems like a wave of violence against Native Americans.

Not only do they expect you to buy it, you’re a racist, colonial oppressor if you dare point out any historical fact regarding the noble inhabitants of the Americas who clearly sprouted out of the ground here.

If the above press release sounds like something written by the ADL, it's because the FBI has become a puppet of the ADL.

From the FBI website: The FBI and the ADL: Working Together to Fight Hate.

An excerpt from the above speech by former FBI director James B. Comey:

"I labeled that last speech a love letter to the ADL. Three years later I can say, from the perspective of the FBI, we’re still in love with you."

Hate must be seen in the range of individualism to collectivism. Individual hate is when someone does somthing to you personally. It is about your and him.

Collective hate only exists to the extent that you support the collective.

At the lowest level, the family is the collective. The Hatfields hate the McCoys.

With TV and now social media, hate exists between people who do not know each other personally. The caricautre of the hated collective (and the hate collective) is hated with lit
tle or no knowledge of each other.

Trump is hated. Trump haters go beyond Trump and hate his supporters. Of course, we are a very diverse group. Hate does not allow for variations in the hated. They are all that same in the mass, mindless allegation of the hater to the hated

Of coursek, this works the other way, also. Trump supporters often hate netral independents, just because they are not (yet) Trump supporters.

Trump won primaries in 2016 because he was able to convert Democrats in Pennsylania and similar places to vothe Republican. Regular Republicans hated this.

Have Trump Republicans now become just like Regular Republicans?.... hating those who want to convert and thus preventing conversion?

Here in GA the immigrants that Republican policies brought to GA are ripe for conversion to Republicanism. But they are hated...maybe hate is too strong a word for some. But new immigrants to GA are definitely not welcomed by either Trumpers or non-Trumper Republicans.

They are not looked at as individusls with individual decisions. They are looked at as a collective and it is hard to convert the collective.
