...200 people attended the United Against Hate forum in the event center at the Coeur d'Alene Casino.
The forum was organized by Josh Hurwit, U.S. attorney for the District of Idaho, the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations, the DOJ and the FBI. United Against Hate is an initiative launched by the DOJ to improve efforts to combat hate crimes through relationships at the local level. The objective is to create and strengthen trust among community leaders, law enforcement and members of the public.
"...hate did not exist on this land. It was an introduced thing," Coeur d'Alene Tribal member Hemene James said. "The Coeur d'Alene Tribe is committed to the intention that love, the interaction that the Creator had when he placed us here for all beings — and that's what we see ourselves as, as beings, not the ruler of this land, but the beings that belong to it — and regardless of disagreements we have with certain groups, certain individuals, certain ideology, if you are focused on that idea of treating your fellow beings with respect without the hate, I will make that commitment to you guys that you will always have a partner in the Coeur d'Alene Tribe."
"At the DOJ, our mission is to enforce the rule of law. That includes a commitment to prosecuting unlawful acts of hate," Hurwit said. This is important, he said, because under the U.S. Constitution, everyone is equal regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity...crimes that target individuals or groups based on those characteristics are repugnant to the rule of law. Hate by itself is not illegal, people are not prosecuted for what they believe. Criminal acts, violence and threats of violence are what will be prosecuted.

Hurwit's remark that "under the U.S. Constitution, everyone is equal regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity" is especially repugnant given the way the DOJ has gone after white conservatives with absolutely baseless claims of "domestic violent extremism," the political imprisonment of hundreds of people for J6 "crimes," and, worst of all, what Garland is doing to President Trump. There is no greater hate in the entire nation than the hate the Deep State has for Donald Trump. But the chance of them investigating that is less than zero.
I'm very troubled by Washington DC injecting itself into local activities. Two years ago, the FBI investigated high school kids throwing rocks at a Plummer-Worley Joint School District school bus after a football game at Clark Fork. The Plummer-Worley high school is 60% white, 33% American Indian, 5% mixed race and 3% Hispanic. I am quite sympathetic to the hatred heaped upon American Indians in the west.
The only measurable hate in this country is against straight Christian white males.
Heap big steaming pile.
Hate by itself is not illegal, Hurwit said; people are not prosecuted for what they believe.
“Native people have been experiencing hundreds of years of hate crimes, not only against our people, but our women,” Allan said. “Our women are being taken, beaten and murdered.”
They are guilty!
And here's what's going to happen to you if you don't agree:
What??? Indians lived like highly enlightened Buddhist monks and totally operated with perfect synchronicity with Mother Nature, of which they were humanity’s greatest steward.
Yup!
Ever perpetuating the myth that native Americans lived in total peace and harmony before the white devils came on the scene. In the Custer biography, “Son of the Morning Star” the book goes into some detail about hereditary tribal warfare that went back as far as anyone could remember before the white man came. Torture of prisoners from rival tribes was common.
San Fransicko, DC, NYC are some of the most hate filled towns in America. But they hate the people the DC Party wants hated.
You got to love the use of euphemisms in this psyops propaganda nightmare. “Hate”
Almighty God hates many things.
Like wicked,evil,deceiving,covetous liars!
Put your cards on the table White liberal 'elite' DOJ filth.
“....hate did not exist on this land. It was an introduced thing,”
Some things/people deserve to and must be hated.
PS American Indian tribes tended to be mortal enemies of each other.
This is rich, given the same state as the recent knifing murders of 4 WHITE kids all together.
THAT doesn’t count as “hate(sic)”, right?
That crime was done in love. So it doesn’t get as much punishment as similar with “hate” added.
I HATE this nonsense of considering their motives for punishment, THAT is unconstitutional, bastards.
As if any other crime involves anything besides “hatred”.
The largest hate organizations in the country....organizing this 🤣🤣🤣
hate crimes are a direct violation of Constitutional protections against Double Jeopardy

In Idaho?
Infecting at the grassroots level of a major conservative area?
(Oh I forgot. Randy Weaver. Aryan’s. Running all over the USA, peacefully protesting, in all the headlines constantly, . .. or not?)
Why not Chicago, etc.? I’ve been seeing a little hate there recently.
Good Grief. They aren’t prosecuted for what they believe?
Those bakery owners would heartily disagree, as would the people arrested for saying the rosary outside abortion clinics.
Not to mention people targeted by the IRS, the 1/6 political prisoners, and I could go on and on.
In their minds, at this stage, you are allowed to believe what you want, but are not allowed to communicate it to anyone.
In the next stage, you won’t be allowed to hold an unorthodox thought in your mind either. That will be “ThoughtCrime”, even if not explicitly stated, derived from actions, words, and deeds.
Yeah, I thought that, too. It was all kumbaya, rainbows and unicorns with all the tribes loving each other all the time. Nobody ever said a mean thing to somebody else and certainly no tribe was ever mean to another tribe.
I would agree, but it is dangerous to go this route, as the last 20 years.
They MAKE IT Big Brother, where now we are banned from internet fora for thinking the wrong way.
Nevermind it is disgusting that murder victims, e.g., due to “hatred” for a group, vs say, victims due “only” to hatred for that particular person, or for insurance, or for random thrills, get more justice than the latter.
It is a travesty of justice, period. Never mind we should not be judged as much for reasons, as the ACTION.
But communists are ALL about words, and not action.
