He’s right in the sense that if you were going to appoint a special counsel, it should have happened much sooner so it all would be OVER. But it’s all political. They spread it out over the Jan. 6 Committee and now a Special Counsel just so they could milk it over two election cycles instead of just one.

The appointment a special counsel means absolutely nothing from a legal standpoint. There is nothing this special counsel can do today that a regular federal prosecutor couldn’t have done three months ago.
