In a perfect world you are correct. A guy murders some people and should be prosecuted for such regardless of his color or sexual preferences. It does not work that way in the media nor in court.

Both sides understood with the assassination of both of the figures that Muslims were a threat to both.
I’m not aware of anything tangible being done, but nobody in Holland buys into the “Islam is a religion of peace” nonsense.
