This is very problematic from a legal perspective and I am not sure that Texas has the legal authority to it. This clearly falls under the administrative law aspects of the Immigration and Nationality Act.


And yet cities can just declare themselves to be sanctuary’s for illegals, flouting Federal law. It only seems to work one way.

Slightly different, state and locals are not required under the INA to assist the feds in removing illegals. Its just what any sane administration would do. The feds could easily restrict federal funding such state and locals but they wont.
