The Ukrainian people are victims of both America and Russia and of course their own corrupt leaders. War with Russia was never in their best interest. It was avoidable. America is NOT your friend. Recently, America’s government has undergone a coup of sorts and is no longer the same country. We are not to be trusted. Just look at what is happening to your country. Remember we did the negotiating with Russia before the war. We didn’t do such a great job did we?. Many suspect that is because America wanted this war. Many Americans are ashamed of their own country and blame them for this horrible war.
How was war avoidable, when Putin states Ukraine is a historical mistake and should not exist as an independent country?

It was avoidable if Putin did nit have grandiose ideas of recreating the Tsardom of Muscowy
This shooting war has been ongoing since 2014 when the US and NATO engineered a coup against an elected, pro-Russian Ukrainian government that spawned the separatist movement in the Donbas and the Russian annexation of Crimea. Zelensky campaigned as the “Peace President” to end the war.
Despite the red lines put forth by Russia that it would not allow Ukraine to become part of NATO, we pushed forward with that objective including having Ukrainian troops trained by NATO and participating in NATO war exercises. You cannot view the current Russian invasion without viewing it in historical context.
