And Doug Ducey did what to protect the citizens of his state?
I can remember riding a bike around Yuma when I was 10 and it was so safe, we never thought anything would happen.
But that was centuries ago it seems
I met the principal of the middle school I went to back in 1967-68. He's in his early eighties now.
I had the opportunity to tell him how lucky we all were to have gone there. The exciting teachers, brand new school, interesting classes. The school had an olympic-size pool that was lots of fun.
He told me he knew how great it was too, and then said this, staring me directly in the eyes: "It will never happen again."
The pool was permanently closed back in the '90s.
If they could have known what a pathetic dump America was to become, they might not have bothered.
