Britons face 'tax and axe' misery: Jeremy Hunt unveils massive £24bn of tax hikes and slashes spending by £30BILLION because 'Britain doesn't leave our debts to the next generation' - as OBR confirms economy is ALREADY in recession

Jeremy Hunt is unveiling a pre-Christmas nightmare of tax hikes and spending cuts today as he scrambles to shore up the government's books.

In a brutal Autumn Statement, the Chancellor warned Britons the country must make 'sacrifices' to weather turmoil at home and abroad.

Mr Hunt said he was announcing a plan to 'rebuild' the finances and deal with 'global' problems, but would be 'compassionate' and show 'British values'.

The bill is due for the UKs profligate spending under the Tories. The irony of a Tory government hitting "running out of other people's money" moment leaves a 3rd degree burn. All of Britons are asking to tighten the belt while "migrants" are being housed in four-and-five star hotels that regular people can only dream of staying in.

What happens when there about as many socialists in the Tories as in the Labour Party. This is the sort of trouble that Thatcher ran into.

Don’t leave your debt to the next generation?

Come over here and say that and they will laugh at you. We have already leveraged the lifetime earnings of our unborn and aborted grandchildren, simultaneously dropping a system on those lucky enough to survive gestation that will make it impossible to acquire wealth.

Good luck.

The Brits missed a memo; the concept of a “recession” has been deconstructed. Maybe that only applies for Brandon or something.

Hey bud, don't you know the left are trying to be responsible?? They kill their baby so they are not strapped with the debt that they racked up.

The UK has a Deep State, too.

The populace there just refuses to wake up and smell the tea.

What the UK doesn’t have, and desperately needs, is a Trump.

Americans are paying for electing Trump. Twice.

Brits are paying for Brexit.

The Tory Party will be crushed in the next election and out of power for a decade.

Labor will keep the massive tax hike but increase deficit spending by 2X or 3X times, all the while cheered on by Reuters, The Economist, and The Guardian.

Why did the Tories even bother to go through the dual farce of leaving the EU and evicting Boris Johnson?

Meanwhile, hundreds of Muzzies sail across the Channel and occupy a couple more acres of London EVERY day.

Right. Brandon is using a simple formula in order to never have a recession. I’m surprised the Brits haven’t caught on yet.

Let N = the current number of consecutive quarters of bad economic news.
Then, a recession requires N+1 consecutive quarters of bad economic news.

'Britain doesn't leave our debts to the next generation'

If those who represent us cared at all about the next generation, Briton, the U.S. and other nations would have a balanced budget amendment or something comparable. As it stands, our government has been using Ponzi tactics with our money for decades if not centuries.

"A Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud that lures investors and pays profits to earlier investors with funds from more recent investors." - Just replace the word "investors" with "taxpayers".

To my great dismay, even Trump did nothing to rein in the federal deficit. True, he was only one person. But he was a person with a veto pen.

Subsidies on energy bills are being downgraded to save money, with the average household bill rising from £2,500 to £3,000 from April. Mr Hunt said the energy crisis was 'made in Russia'.

The energy crisis was made in Washington and London by choosing to impose sanctions and energy embargos on Russia.

We could have chosen to continue trade with Russia while supporting Ukraine with arms and ammunition.

The war would have proceeded pretty much as it has. There is no evidence that the energy embargo and sanctions have disrupted the Russian war effort.

It took seven years to win the Revolutionary War against an enemy wearing red coats.

Deep State is entrenched and hiding in plain sight.

In any case the deficit and debt are moot until we restore our republic.

That is the only issue to my mind.

Until our republic is restored, the rest doesn’t matter.

Exactly! The formula is simple enough that even the Tories can use it! The Economic Question is now solved!

1. Socialism does not work you eventually run out of money.

2. What you reward you get more of, what you punish you get less of. Punish (tax) those that produce wealth and they will stop producing.

3. No nation has ever taxed themselves into prosperity.

4. Man made climate change is a scam and to stop using easily obtain energy source leads to freezing in the winter (and shut down of your industry)

5. Diversity is not a strength, it is dry rot in the foundation of a nation.

6. Two (or more) cultures can not peacefully co-exist unless one is overwhelmingly stronger then the others. When they are equal there is chaos, war and death.
