Unconstitutional federal takeover of state sovereignty is NOT a good precedent.

Nope. Voter fraud and the Constitution's guarantee of a republican form of government is NOT an issue left to the states.

Trump’s biggest challenge to re-election is explaining his continued over-the-top support for Warp Speed.

As more comes out about the consequences of pretending there wasn’t huge risk with the speeded-up vaccine rollout there’s going to be a public reckoning. It will happen! It will be pulled out as a hammer to stop his nomination and his election! To head this off he needs to start walking back some of his statements. This will be hard for him. His ego will fight admitting he made a mistake. Basically, he was conned! They used his ego against him. And yes, he was in a damned if you do and dammed if you don’t situation! This is why it’s going to be very hard! If he doesn’t do it, it will all be hung around his neck. The MSM, & the Rats role in it will be conveniently forgotten.

I guess it’s possible it will be “old news”. Stuffed into the history books and forgotten. That would happen if we were talking about a Rat. We are not! “Warp Speed” and its consequences are a trap lying in wait, and I see no effort to try and avoid it or handle it.

There are new rules in place and that's not going to change anytime soon.

Either we play by the new rules or we lose. Cali repubs are playing the game.

Mail-in ballots are the norm, not the exception. 35 of 50 states use them now. Only 7 states mass mail them to everyone on the voter rolls.

Ballot harvesting is LEGAL in about half the states. It doesn't matter whether we like the new rules. They exist.

“The Constitution’s guarantee of a republican form of government is NOT an issue left to the states.” True enough.

However, short of a very limited constitutional amendment, voter fraud at the state level is very well an issue left to the states as the Constitution gives the feds no power to interfere with the voting process in each state. That is a state sovereignty issue which must we worked out by the people of each state.

Stop supporting the unconstitutional acts of government (AKA “tyranny” AKA “Deep State” AKA “The Swamp”) which has brought America to the brink.

Regulation of Elections

The Federal Constitution provides that the times, places, and manner of holding elections for Senators and Representatives is prescribed in each state by the state legislature[i]. However, Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such regulations, except as to the places of choosing Senators.

Accordingly, the Constitution grants the states broad power to prescribe the times, places, and manner of holding elections for senators and representatives, which power is matched by state control over the election process for state offices[ii].

Pursuant to the Elections Clause, states maintain a discretionary power over elections[iii]. The states are given and in fact exercise wide discretion in the formulation of a system for electing representatives in Congress[iv].

The Constitutional provisions embrace the authority to provide a complete code for congressional elections as to times and places, notices, registration, supervision of voting, protection of voters, prevention of fraud and corrupt practices, counting of votes, duties of inspectors and canvassers, and making and publication of election returns[v].

Thus, the power of the states for electing federal representatives encompasses nearly every procedural facet of a federal election. The Elections Clause grants to the states broad power to prescribe the procedural mechanisms for holding congressional elections[vi].

States can within limits specify the qualifications of voters in both state and federal elections[vii]. The Constitution makes voters’ qualifications rest on state law even in federal elections. A State may if it chooses require voters to pass literacy tests, provided of course that literacy is not used as a cloak to discriminate against one class or group.

In exercising power, the Congress may supplement the state regulations or may substitute its own[viii]. It may impose additional penalties for the violation of the state laws or provide independent sanctions. It has a general supervisory power over the whole subject.

If one can demonstrate that the lack of voter ID, the use of machines and any state laws that are associated with that, are abridging people's rights to a republican form of government, then no amendment is needed.

How many conservatives are harvesting ballots where LEGAL? (about half the states) There's nothing immoral about playing by the new rules, whether we like them or not.

Ballot Harvesting as explained by Rep Tim Burchett TN-02

https://twitter.com/timburchett/status/1591937147501682690

You compare the list of voters with those who haven’t voted. You approach those who haven’t voted in your party with a ballot and have them vote for your candidate. The harvester then takes your ballot to the post office or a ballot box depending on the laws in that state.

Not illegal. Not really immoral either. Find a lazy republican, of which there is no shortage of, have them fill out and sign ballot, turn it in. You're merely increasing turnout. That is a big part of what the dems are doing to win. Only 7 states mass mail ballots so it's not like there's a billion ballots floating around to fraudulently fill in and return. CA, CO, HI, NV, OR, UT, WA are the states that mail them out en-masse.

Man, you're doing a Leftist dance - validating unconstitutional federal laws.

In exercising power, the Congress may supplement the state regulations or may substitute its own[viii]. It may impose additional penalties for the violation of the state laws or provide independent sanctions. It has a general supervisory power over the whole subject.

That is simply unconstitutional. The Constitution gives Congress no such power over the states.

No, a republican form of government simply means the people are in charge of their own state. It doesn’t extend to federal interference with HOW the people choose to govern their state.

My question is how is Trump going to accomplish this before the 2024 election because otherwise Jesus Christ couldn’t get elected on the Republican ticket. I think the last two elections have proven you can’t out vote fraud.

I also found Trump’s demeanor last night somewhat worrisome. Almost like he just wasn’t quite feeling it.

“””Trump declared. “To eliminate cheating, I will immediately demand voter ID, same-day voting, and only paper ballots. … And we want all votes counted by election night.”””

In the 2016 election season Trump talked about the issues that concerned Americans for many years. e.g. illegal immigration, factories being shipped to China.

Now, he has added election intregity to the list of issues that have concerned Americans for many years.

Oh, good gosh....that evil, broken, old man is so obviously corrupt and paid off.

The jig is up, old man, on your DC money laundering scheme.

He could care less...as he and Coco assume they’re untouchable.

Disgusting.

Now try Texas:

A bail reform group bonding out hundreds of criminal defendants from the Bexar County Jail then paying some to do campaign work for candidates, including the DA whose office is prosecuting them. “””Better is using the bully pulpit to influence states to stop the steal.”””

Trump knows how to use the bully pulpit. He needs to put his 2024 campaign staff to work right now on a project to educate the public on the specific voting laws in each of the 50 states that create opportunities for fraud and cheating.
