God has redeemed him.

He hasn’t really fought for us.

Why would we leave him in there, after his and Ryan’s
performance from 2017 through 2019, and beyond.

He needs to shuffle on off the stage.

Nope. He’s past redemption because he has proved he cannot be trusted.

He could go hunting with Liz Cheney’s dad.

Watch McConnell and the Senate Republicans behavior over the next six months.

Their MO is to turn their backs on their voters right after an election. Voters are hyper-sensitized right now to how the "red wave" was stolen. If they suspect that the Republicans in the Senate are happy with the outcome, if they suspect that the Senate Republicans are working with the Democrats to pass their agenda instead of fighting and obstructing at each and every opportunity, then support for President Trump will grow like a wildfire.

People say that Trump can't control his impulses. Well, the same can be said for our Senate Republicans. Let's watch and see if they reach out to their base to explain what happened and how they're changing it for next time, or see if they go back to business as usual without another thought about what just happened. I'm betting on the latter.

It will be Mitch Mconnell and Lindsey Graham who drive the voters back to President Trump.

Mitch is not going to do any of that.

To be redeemed, you have to want redemption. But before that, you have to suffer loss and McConnell hasn’t suffered loss in this election.

In the previous two elections, McConnell quietly blocked non-GOPe candidates by holding back funds through his PAC. He would deny it or ignore questions and that was that. Comes 2022 with Trump taking a direct role in every high profile Senate race with non-GOPe candidates, McConnell now isn’t quiet. He actively blocks them by questioning their quality and refuses to give them money while throwing millions to his toadie Murkowski in Alaska.

McConnell literally says my power is such that I’m going to prevent the Republican party from taking over the Senate and me becoming majority leader and not only is there nothing anyone can do about it especially Donald Trump, but I’m still going to lead the Republicans in the Senate when I’m done.

That isn’t someone who suffered loss and certainly isn’t someone looking for redemption.

Redemption for McConnell seems quite unlikely to me. I’d like to be pleasantly surprised but won’t be holding my breath waiting for it.
