Looks like R’s end up at 220-222.. I think the D’s have 222 currently.. and of course 50/50 in senate. maybe 51/49 depending on Walker...

Not great, but better than losing.

No, 218 is the pinnacle.

The number of seats over 217 for Republicans, you need to
subtract from 218 to get the Democrat’s figure.

217 is the highest the Democrats could have at 218 for the
Republicans.

Sadly, not enough to make any changes...only to block more radical new policies and now stacking the courts and things like that are no longer a possibility. That’s good. But not much to celebrate beyond that.

You had two options at 51-49 he it becomes Mitt Romney working with the Democrats
A 50-50 means Joe Manchin runs the senate until he either retires or loses in 2024
