“The problem is that President Trump is doing a good enough job dividing Republicans all by himself—with his own words.”

So I guess Trump should have just lied back and take the criticism from the media the other night? He should have let all of those RINOs destroy him just because they were fawning over DeSantis and were crucifying Trump at the same time?

Exactly how would keeping his mouth shut been a good thing?

Keep in mind most of the mainstream GOP was behind that Trump attack on election night ... how in the hell is this all Trump’s fault? How is he splitting the party by defending himself and setting the record straight on the rise of Ron? Is he “bad orange man” for fighting back???

Using that awesome Rove/Bush “keep your mouth shut” ‘strategery’ they employed from 2005 onward all but handed the House, Senate, and WH (along with Colorado, New Mexico, and Virginia) to the Rats (while the Rats were being led by a Kenyan mind you) ... W Bush set conservatism BACK ... he did nothing to advance it ... and Rove was the advisor that let that happen.

Of course, the GOPe cozying up with RINOs didn’t stop there ... in 2008, John McCain (a campaign managed by people who DESPISE Trump) claimed that “there is nothing to fear about an Obama Presidency” about 4 weeks before he lost. Is that more of the same kind of GOP strategy we should be employing these days? Supporting the Rats? Being good statesmen when deranged psychopaths are attempting to take over is the proper way to proceed?

Or, how about the awesome Mitt Romney ... a man that is an incredible and viscous campaigner ... only when he’s campaigning against Republicans (especially “non-severe” conservatives, unlike him who claimed he was a “severe conservative with binders full of women).

However, when he campaigned against Obama, he basically did his job in one debate, then decided to check out since he did too well making America’s sweetheart, poor Kenyan prince look like a doddering retard. He basically gave Obama a month to recover from that disaster (Romney did nothing all while Benghazi was going on). Again, another milquetoast GOP candidate brought to you by the right wing media talking heads and campaign managers.

So, that’s a Presidency and two Presidential campaigns run by the *exact* same people that are approaching Ron DeSantis to run in 2024. These are the same people that are all excited about various Rs in the Senate defecting to pass “codified gay marriage”. Is this the mindset you want running Ron DeSantis’ campaign? What in the hell makes you think this time will be different? Are they just gonna tell Ron “Sure, run on the MAGA platform ... we want to see those ideas succede”?

Finally, do you think Ron DeSantis has enough in him to tell Rove and Company to drop dead? If Desantis is the conservative we think he is, there is no way he’d put up with these asses for any considerable period of time. Does he have enough of a machine to stay afloat if the GOPe abandons him? Moreover, does he have the skills to heal the party should he defeat Trump?

Have you ever mentored someone?

If you have you know that you would support them, wish them well, and be the first to congratulate them when they have great success.

When someone fails to do that—and instead attacks their student in public on the student’s great night of victory—that person is dead to me.

There are no excuses and no explanations that cut it for that type of horrible behavior.
