"[A]ny effort to blame Trump—or McConnell for that matter—ignores a major structural advantage for Democrats: money," he wrote. "Money is how candidates fund the all-important advertising that reaches swing voters, and it's how candidates fund turnout operations. And in every marquee national race, Republicans got crushed financially."

*** "Blaming Trump isn't just wrong on the facts, it is counterproductive," he concluded. "Any autopsy of Republican underperformance ought to focus on how to close the national money gap, and how to turn out less engaged Republicans during midterm elections." ***

Dems don’t really turn them out. They use mass mail ballots and ballot harvesting. If repubs don’t admit these are legal in many places and start using them, then they will keep losing. I said this before and after the 2020 election. It becomes more true every day.

You’ve got to win governor and sec state races in those states to do that. No such problem in Ohio.

If you don’t control governor, legislature, supreme court, and sec state offices in a state you will never pass those laws to switch back to paper.

The GOP establishment placed the midterm blame on Donald Trump
<><>not b/c Mitch McConnell’s $10m to the treacherous Murkowski, rather than in Az, Ga, or Mi.
<><>Not Kevin McCarthy’s embarrassing “Commitment to America” attempt to recreate the 54 “Contract with America” win,
<><>Not McConnell’s Aug derision of MAGA candidates,
<><>Not mcConnell’s claiming the party lacked “candidate quality,”
<><>Not McConnell’s handpicked Co candidate losing by 13 points, 3 times as much as Oz lost.

No, it was Trump.

GOP’s under-performance in the midterms is “100%” Trump’s fault they say.
Of course, there’s no stink on D.C. Republicans —
<><> not Kevin McCarthy, not Mitch McConnell, not Ronna McDaniel,
<><>not Tom Emmer (chairman, RNCC),
<><>not GOP consultants and pollsters…
<><>Nor on any Republican who hangs out at the Capitol Hill Club.

Vance win 81/88 counties. Ohio is super Red now. Sherrod Brown is in trouble if the Rsvdont allow the Ds to pick their candidate. (Open primary in Ohio)

You get an unlikely voter model. You vote on their behalf. If there turns out to be peoblems (like the signatures don’t match) you cure them after the fact. The Rats are obviously cheating and this is one of the re ways. Rats weren’t really more engaged. They have a strategy to get a ballot in front of people and having them sign it(or not). That’s why the count take so long. They are literally still voting. That’s also why the Rats win the close ones. They are voting until they get the number the need then they stop curing the ballots. If they needed another 10k they could probably get it done.

This is thoughtful. Too many fingers pointing without honest evaluation or insight as of now.

These guys refuse to use the word “fraud”, “cheat”, “illegal”, “denying Americans their right to the election process” and on and on. It’s always “they out moneyed us”. “They out advertised us”. “Their message was clearer” BS!

They out-voted us for the reasons given: money and turnout.

They get higher turnout because they: 1. Mass mail ballots, and 2. Because they ballot harvest.

We do that, too, in the states that allow it, or we keep losing.
