US midterms: Gen Z makes sure its voice is heard

...

According to the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) at Tufts University, this year saw young people turn out at one of the hightest rates ever in a midterm.

The center estimated that 27% of those aged between 18 and 29 voted, just below the previous high point of 30% in the 2018 midterms. In previous decades, the youth voter turnout hovered around 20%.

CIRCLE sees a clear trend of young people "increasing their electoral participation, leading movements, and making their voices heard on key issues that affect their communities," it said in an analysis.

The youth vote helped "hold back the red wave" expected in these midterms, the analysis found.

Young voters tend to favor Democrats by wide margins. Some 63% voted for the Democrats in the 2022 midterms, according to CNN National House Exit Polls. Among African-American and Latino voters in this age group, the trend toward the Democratic Party was even more pronounced.

By turning out so strongly, young people's vote "proved pivotal" in some crucial races in individual US states, according to CIRCLE.

Not a single Get Z walked to a polling location. They had their ballots harvested.

Yeah, the little idiots were as stupid and indoctrinated as we thought they were. Wonder how they will like to keep paying for those loans Joe told them others would pay for?

Joe is going to fix this though. Wait for the court packing.

We can’t fix indoctrinated and stupid.

In many ways, Gen Z resembles the “hire the 16 year old while they still know it all” stage of development.

They have been raised in the everything is free era. They see the dems as their providers so why change it. That is what the are taught in school and what they hear in media. Unfortunately actions have consequences but it will take years hopefully ten or more for them to look around and say what the hell happened.

So this election there were 3% less Gen Z voters than the previous midterms? Why is this story relevant at all? Couldnt it be spun to say.... ‘Gen Z voters, disenfranchised by Bidens economy, stay home’?

Gen Z is about to get a rude awakening and reality lesson.

They just did. At least a bit. That absurdly illegal student loan forgiveness giveaway was just slapped down as unconstitutional.

The beating need to continue, however. We’re dealing with indoctrinated slow learners.

Maybe they didn’t want to….

That faggot Senator from SC seemed to scuttle the election deliberately.

How do they know these numbers?
Ballots are still being counted and races are still being decided.

I guess you missed all the college students in the long lines they had to wait in to vote.

Oh yeah. Between Graham and Rick Scott, they both did damage to the election big time.

Based on my Gen Z co-workers, they’re complete ignoramuses who are thoroughly indoctrinated by our Communist education establishment.

Yeah, Missouri voted overwhelmingly to legalize weed, and in the worst possible way. Leaving aside entirely the question of whether it is advisable to legalize weed, the voters of Missouri approved a Soros-backed amendment to the state constitution which appoints a weed “equity officer”, not answerable to the governor. It’s a freaking mess. And everyone voted “Yes” because “muh legal weed”

It’s comforting to know that a bunch of indoctrinated mush brains had a hand in holding back the red wave. Total BS. If there wasn’t a video game or some smoke involved, they ain’t interested at all.
