GOP Rep. Banks on Republican Midterm Losses: Trump ‘Wasn’t on the Ballot’
Breitbart ^ | 13 Nov 2022 | PAM KEY

Representative Jim Banks (R-IN) said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that former President Donald Trump was not on the ballot in the midterms after the GOP underperformed.

Anchor Shannon Bream said, “Let’s talk 2024 because it is already here. Trump is expected to make an announcement on Tuesday. You have been an ally and supporter of his.”

Bream asked, “Is his announcement on Tuesday a good thing or bad thing for the GOP?”

Banks said, “Donald Trump remains a very popular figure in the Republican Party in each corner of the country. And remember when he was on the ballot and 2016 and 2020, we won a lot more seats than when he wasn’t on the ballot in 2018 and 2022.”

Bream said, “But his picks had a hard time.”

He continued, “He had also supported many candidates who won around the country, too. He wasn’t on the ballot in 2022.”

Banks added, “I believe that Donald Trump was a very effective president for our country. I believe he could be a very effective present for our country again.

The biggest victory in the last 50 YEARS has been the OVERTURN of ROE v WADE! DO NOT Undervalue how HUGE this is...THEY HATE TRUMP FOR WHAT HE stood for and what he also FOUGHT FOR! God took Ruth BADER Ginsburg off the scene in timely fashion for President Trump to select Amy Comey Barrett onto the Supreme Court. Everyday since the ruling was overturned, some babies have lived...V is for Victory for the innocent.

We are in a spiritual battle! Armor up as it is getting bloody out here...

Oz was a lousy candidate.
He’s a celebrity, carpetbagger. It’s tough to get on base, when you have two strikes against you, as you step up to the plate.
How about someone who has Pennsylvania roots, and the state’s best interest as a platform?

No offense, but your lost goes a long way to explain why conservatives have a hard time getting traction with ordinary Americans.

I love reading the guy’s books, but really — WGAF whether Thomas Sowell gets a presidential medal?

Who thinks it would have been a worse idea to publicly honor a very distinguished Black conservative instead of Elvis Presley plus some living and dead professional athletes?

The freedom awards Trump gave furnish an unflattering picture of his shallow and totally ego-driven mind. It’s astonishing what a great record as President he compiled during his first 3 years as President. In his 4th year he became the father of the deadly covid vaccine, which sadly he still thinks is one of the great achievements of humanity. Trump can never admit a mistake, and the vaccine alone is good reason to prefer someone else as President.

My point is that you're harping on something that doesn't matter to 99.9% of the voters in this country.

Other than Rush Limbaugh, I couldn't name a single jackass who was given a presidential medal by Trump. And if I can't name them, then you can be damn sure that disinterested Americans don't. Really -- who gives a sh!t?

This is why conservatives lose elections.

Totally agree that democommies CHEAT early, often, and ALWAYS, but Wisconsin manged to minimize the cheating enough to win by challenging ghosts (deceased & relocated) on voter registration rolls at many various registrar offices. The challenges included evidence and successfully eliminated enough invalid registrations that the comrade-crats could not produce a sufficient number phantoms to “win.”

The guest speaker at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills (Jack Hibbs’ church) this past Sunday gave a powerful presentation on abortion.

Midterms always have lower turnouts, to begin with, the mail-in cheating, etc, just made it a great #2 steal. We knew BLUE states, counties, and cities going in were tough cheaters.

The big thing is we have to get rid of old fossils like crooked Mitch. Rinos.
