China need not invade. They will be invited in by the party that is out of power now. Their are many in Taiwan who want China to govern Taiwan. The take over will be almost bloodless. No need for mass death—just a few million here, a few billion there—and the CCP will come in by air to sign a peace treaty—like the one Xi signed with Hong Kong—and about as good.
