Another beautiful day you had and Gizmo seemed to enjoy it.
Yikes on your upcoming weather! There really wasn’t anything out that way earlier today when I looked to see where our rain will be coming from Tuesday. Now it’s big enough to see it. We’ll just get rain, unlike you who are under a winter weather advisory. I hope it doesn’t get bad there.
Sounds like a rocky night up there for ya. Usually the snow is huge flakes when it’s that warm. Pretty but slushy. Do you have to drive in to work tomorrow?
I think all my family have been southern. Both sides came from Alabama [after NC] and my mom’s side moved to Texas before it was a state...or about the same time it became a state. The other side came to Texas after the civil war was over. I am 6th generation Texan. YeeHAW!
I have done some genealogy, but it’s so easy to go down rabbit holes and hard to find the way back on track. I’d love to go farther back than I have, but I’ve come to dead ends on most lines.
I think I’m going to head out for the night. The early morning has caught up with me. See ya tomorrow! Stay warm!
It’s definitely easy to get caught up when digging into our roots. And sometimes, those rabbit hole lead to “eureka!” moments.
I only start digging when I know I have nothing else to do for a long time because I know I’ll be at it for hours. LOL
I’m doing my best to stay warm by simply staying inside. LOL I’ll have to get out a few times this week but that’s what bundling up in my long goosedown coat is for. Keeps me warm almost to my ankles. Slap a wool cap on my head and I’m good to go.
70 degrees is still preferable. LOL
Sleep well. Catch ya tomorrow.
